"McKnights' came to our rescue after another well known pest control service cancelled due to a scheduling conflict (theirs not mine). We were leaving on vacation in two days and had a serious ant problem. He came out even though it was a weekend and took care of the issue. "very professional.  Described the process and the fees for the trapping. Came back the next day and removed the skunk and trap.  Reset the trap in case there were more than one skunk.  Came back two days in a row to check and concluded that we had only one resident at our hose.  We have seen none since.  I would highly recommend Groen's for rodent/pest removals.

When you spray a roach, the chemicals, usually a mix of neurotoxins like pyrethroids or pyrethrins, start affecting its nervous system almost immediately. Bleach and freezing are your best bets here. The soft exoskeleton of spiders and spider eggs is no match to household bleach. Create a mixture that’s half water and half bleach and spray it directly onto the egg sac, and the spider eggs will be killed in less than five minutes. Freezing the egg sac or drowning it in cold water is another option.

Flea eggs can’t take heat, so use that information to your advantage. Take any affected clothes and linens and wash them on a hot setting (140℉ or higher) to kill them off. You can also rid carpets and furniture using heat. After vacuuming all surfaces thoroughly, use a steam mop or cleaner to get rid of the remaining flea eggs and residue. 

Flea eggs also can’t handle extreme cold. You could seal affected linens and store them in a freezer. 

Regular cleaning, sealing cracks, and inspecting second-hand furniture help prevent infestations.

While taking a shower can help wash away fleas and their dirt from your body, it may not completely get rid of all of them. However, if you wash your clothes and bedding in hot water and dry them on the highest heat recommended for the fabric, it can further reduce the possibility of an infestation. However, even if just a few are left, they can reproduce and take over again, so it’s best to take additional measures and call a flea exterminator to ensure they’re gone for good.
