The team did an AMAZING job. They were speedy, even with some unexpected work in the beginning, and the quality is fantastic. They really made our house feel like a home. They removed, leveled, installed, and refinished our entire first floor with real hardwood in five days. Truly cannot recommend them enough!!

The work that was done was amazing. I needed my hardwood floors refinished, and they were done superbly. I was also in need of my steps being brought to cold and replaced. The gentlemen were able to match the stairs with no problem and also were able to do some additional work that I needed to have done that was not originally listed. Several years ago, we needed new oak flooring installed in two large rooms and have the rest of the home's floors sanded and refinished. IC Custom Flooring did all of the work and the results are amazing. The new flooring blends perfectly with the old floor both in fit and color. The workmen were prompt, courteous and extremely skilled. They moved and replaced all of the furniture as needed and left the worksite spotless, and all at a very fair price. Recently, we changed the hearth on our living room fireplace which exposed a large patch of 58 year old flooring. Since the old flooring had never been refinished, it was discolored with age and not level with the surrounding floor. Once again we called IC Custom Flooring. A workman came out, and in just a few hours, he had sanded, leveled and finished the old floor which transformed a problem into an invisible repair. These guys are great. Set a date, they came in and did the work. Beatiful job. Just like the last time they did work for me. They were careful to keep the dust under control and promptly returned to put on the final coat.

The floors were in terrible condition, they really did a great job at re-finishing and were in & out in 1 day with minimal dust & fumes. Their promptness and returning phone calls to confirm is not great but the job done was excellent.

After contacting IC, the owner was at our house within a couple of days to give us an estimate of costs and time frame. He was very knowledgeable and professional and we immediately liked him. He was able to start within a few days and was on time for each application as we wanted polyurethane (3 coats) on the floor. His crew worked diligently and quickly. Will definitely hire him again when the other floors are in need that were done a few years ago by others.

Not a single complaint. There were a few minor (very minor) damages that were/are easily repaired. Two minor things are unfinished: one closet's doors do not have the guides installed on the floor because it was unexpected that the doors would be too long after removing carpet and they did not have a tool with them for cutting on re-assemble the house day. Also the cove molding was not replaced under the lip of the top stair. These simple things I will take care of later. Overall..... call these guys. I have lots of major projects done on my home and these were above and beyond the easiest to work with ever. Everything I asked or requested was treated with respect and they went out of their way to accommodate my every request. The floors are stunningly beautiful. Large projects usually leaving me so upset with the errors and ignorance and hostility of the contractors (I am a single woman homeowner) that it is often a very long time before appreciation for the home improvement even happens because I am so upset about permanent errors and disrespect. This floor project is very different. Every day I wake up with joy in my heart, I love love love walking on and looking at my new floors, and I am eager to hire them for my next floor project as soon as I save up some money for it. :)

Calin and his crew were excellent, from initial introductions and bidding the project all the way through to clean-up. IC Custom Flooring gave me a great price after comparing several bids and they followed through with outstanding quality. They were flexible in their timing - when I had delays in other areas they were able to accommodate, and whatever date we set they were there on-time. Great service! I'll definitely have this crew back when I'm ready to install new hardwood in the remainder of the house!

Roughly a stair way with 13 treads and 1800 sq. ft. They did a good job. I would say make sure they set a firm commitment for start dates as well as time of arrival. They were professional. They were fine. No concerns. They definitely cleaned up everything and took all necessary tools out for the day. They left the area very neat and clean.

Hardwood flooring project went as planned but had a lot of problems with the kitchen Travertine project, issues still ongoing. A month after project finished, the grout started cracking and coming out. They came a few times and wanted to test the grout to see if there are any problems with it. He told me that the grout was fine and went ahead and reapplied the grout in problem areas. This did not fix the problem and the grout kept cracking. On further investigation I found out that this happens when the sub-floor is not re-inforced properly before the stone is placed. I had a discussion with Mr Pecura that he needs to reinforce the base properly and then re-do certain areas, since we were still under warranty. He was adamant that this is not the case. He intentionally delayed coming back till the end of the warranty period and again just applied re-applied grout. He refused to reinforce the base properly which is the cause of the problem. He mixed something in the grout to make it more flexible and believed this will fix the problem. A week latter, we are back to the same thing happening again. I am highly dissapointed in the quality of work done at my residence. I spent close to $50,000 on the entire project with this company. Despite, texting and leaving messages I have not heard back from them.

We chose IC initially because of the price and the timing. On the first day they came out, I had to remind them/ask them to put up plastic covering on the door ways to help contain the dust from the rest of the hours. Then they proceeded to take out our old floors - I would say they actually ripped out the old floors. Per Calin, this is how they normally do it because it is faster. They came out about an hour later than they said they were going to come and ended up leaving before 3 pm that first day. The reason I mention this is that during the whole floor ripping out part, they caused quite a bit of damage to our walls - outside of the small dents and chipped pain (which I would expect), there were a number of large gashes and and a huge crack that formed in one of our walls (see pictures). I asked Calin about these things and he pretty much dismissed us and stated that this is normal and we should be able to just spackle and paint it over. I got the feeling the workers were just trying to hurry as much as possible and just got careless. The following days after this, the workers usually came about an hour late each time. They ended up finishing up the floors which turned out decent. In some areas there were gaps between the boards and it would have been nice if they had chosen boards that did not have little wood pecker holes or at least put wood puddy in it. There were some problems with some areas of the floor missing coating but Calin had the workers come out again and fix this. The finished product looked nice and the floor was much less sqeaky than before. Overall, however, I feel they should have been more careful, spent a couple hours more removing the wood to avoid destroying our walls, and should have been more punctual; it would have been nice if they had just been more considerate in general. The overall feeling I had at the end of it was that they just wanted to get the job done as fast as possible and get out.

I cant get to an exact hour because we cant predict everything what will happen in the next day .I did mention from the beginning that ,because we have to remove the old wood and also the sub-floor ,there will be same damages to the walls . the house is old and has old plastered walls ,we create vibrations when we remove the floor and if the plaster is old and dry it might crack and chip .you wanted to match the existing floor what you have in another room to save money so we brought same quality wood .We did try to answer all of your demands and concerns."
