"They were fantastic. Came out promptly and gave us a very reasonable quote. Then, were able to begin and complete the job in a very reasonable time. They kept us informed of every step of the process. They protected the other areas well from the dust. Cleaned up every day and left everything in great shape when finished. The floor looks better than I ever thought possible. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering have a wood floor redone."

"Chris and his team replaced our aged handrails and wood spindles with custom posts and new spindles. They also replaced our worn carpet with beautiful LVP. Awesome work at a fair price. Chris has also done a full bath remodel for us that turned out amazing! Highly recommend Edwards Design Group for all home improvement projects."

Small jobs welcome

Hi there! I have about 9 years of experience with home remodeling, house flips, and currently I am focused more on carpentry (custom closets, interior/exterior trim, etc.) and flooring. I am still open to most home repair needs. I am new to Angi, but feel free to check out some photos of my work in the project photos. I am also willing to share more photos. Feel free to email me at [email protected] or call/text at 3179032308. Thanks!

"Scott and his crew were so great to work with! We had a water leak that damaged the hardwood floors in our kitchen. Scott was very open an honest about either repairing the damaged parts of the floor and lacing in new hardwood or replacing with LVP. He provided quotes for both jobs. I was impressed that he said he didnâ t think we should go with the hardwood option because it was just too expensive and financially didnâ t make sense. We decided to replace the entire first floor of our home since our home had several types of flooring and we wanted everything to flow better. The crew was exceptionally polite and very hard working! They tore out the entire first floor of my home which included the damaged hardwood floors, engineered hardwood and carpet and replaced it with beautiful waterproof luxury vinyl plank flooring. They moved my furniture and constantly swept the floor as they worked and kept their workspaces clean. Their attention to detail was impeccable and they quickly finished the job in only 2 days! When they were finished, they went through my home several times to ensure they didnâ t miss anything. Scott stopped by our home several times throughout they day to check on progress. I have already recommended Seasorâ s Flooring to several of my friends and I will be using them again for a future project!"

"The quality of the work was well done.  Greg and Adam are very responsive.  Adam does excellent work, and very fast once he had all the cabinets, etc.  The thing folks need to know is that it takes a very long time to get cabinets custom ordered and to get granite selected and cut.  Make sure you build this in.  Overall I think this project took too long to complete (over two months), but the overall final product was really great.

"I talked with Greg Garrison, one of the owners, over the phone about the type of tile I liked, and he brought out a few boards (since I do not live close to Avon). I absolutely loved one of the tile selections for the floor! He had really tracked exactly what I was looking for. I bought the shower tile from another vendor because I had already chosen these. Greg promptly gave me a quote for the floor tile, and for the installation of the floor and shower tile. I made the downpayment. His company began the work on the exact date they said they would. He came out periodically to check on the work, and talk with me to see how things were going. He gave me pointers on grout selection and sealers. The installer was a true artisan. My shower and floor are gorgeous! Greg is a very nice person, is primarily concerned with the customer being satisfied, sells quality products, and hires professional installers. There were many times I was not at home when they were working, and I felt comfortable. This is not normal for me. Ours was not an easy installation. As often happens, there were some unforeseen contingencies. Nevertheless, he stuck with his original estimate, was courteous, and apologetic for any delays or inconveniences, even if they were not his fault. I give this company my highest recommendation."

Floor Sanding questions, answered by experts

There are a couple of ways you can determine the depth of your well. One method is to use a device called a well sounder. This tool has a long measuring tape containing a sensor to alert you once the end reaches the water.

Or you can DIY it by using a long tape measure with a half-filled bottle of water attached to it. Lower the tape measure into your well. Once you feel tension on the tape, you’ll know the bottle has reached your static water level. This will give you an approximate idea of your well’s depth.

To prepare for a land survey, you must thoroughly check your land surveyor’s qualifications, reviews, and fees to align with your expectations. When it is time for the survey to be conducted, ensure that you have all your documents organized and available, know and mark your property lines, and inform your neighbors that the survey is happening.

This is fairly rare, but sometimes the local government or a group like a historical society will label a tree as a landmark, or historical item. These designations almost always come with a small, on-site plaque for identification, but you should also be able to look up protected trees in your area on a city website or similar list. If the tree in question is a landmark, call your local government and ask how to proceed before making any plans.

The small lines on the tape measure either indicate inches, fractions of an inch, or centimeters and millimeters. On the imperial unit side (aka the inches side), the longest lines indicate inches, followed by the next shortest lines that indicate a half-inch, and then the quarter, eighth, and sixteenth-inch. On the metric side, the lines break down meters, centimeters, and millimeters.

When planning for land survey costs, you should consider the following elements as major contributors to the overall cost:

  • Size of your property in terms of acres or square feet

  • Complexity of the terrain in terms of hills, elevation changes, rocks, water, and other features

  • Type of survey you need (boundary survey, topographic survey, or a combination of survey types)

  • Distance traveled for the professional surveyor
