"I couldn't have asked for better! My patio was quite a challenge. Raccoons had nested in moldy leaves and left behind stains I never anticipated would ever look better. Just getting his equipment around to the back of the building was a job in itself. Without complaint he did it all. No odors and no bugs now, I plan to use Jeff again next summer to pressure wash my patio as I expect the woodland creatures to repeat their damage. I love living off a tributary of Eagle Creek with the birds singing waking me up to start my day."

Small jobs welcome

"Victoria Cleaning Solutions did an amazing job power washing my patio! They were recommended to me by the contractor who installed my backsplash, and I?m so glad I took the suggestion. The results were incredible?my patio looks brand new. They were professional, efficient, and clearly know what they?re doing. I was truly amazed by the transformation and would highly recommend Victoria Cleaning Solutions to anyone in need of power washing or exterior cleaning services."

"EXCELLENT! Thorough prep work, including power washing, salvaging some wood trim by patching in a way that I thought only old-timers knew, and completely caulking everything neatly. Used great paints and applied it so well that my house exterior LOOKS BRAND NEW. No overspray, drips or runs. A GREAT job done timely, considering the multiple rain delays we had in June 2019. Cleaned up nicely after the job, put everything back in place neatly. Jessie is as friendly and pleasant s they come, and clearly has learned her trade well. I will only use J and J Pro Painting for any paint job I have. By the way, I am very picky about house painting because my late father was a master craftsman/journeyman painter, and was a lifelong member of the local Painters Union. Jessie's work would have withstood even my late father's scrutiny. Excellent!"

Pressure Washing questions, answered by experts

The best and fastest way to remove paint from a deck often involves combining a chemical stripper with a pressure washer. Gel-based paint strippers are highly recommended because their thick consistency makes them less messy and easier to apply than liquid strippers. After applying the stripper to loosen the paint, you can use a pressure washer to efficiently wash away the residue. When using a pressure washer for this task, it's important to use a low pressure (under 1000 PSI) to avoid forcing too much moisture into the wood, which could lead to mildew or rot.

We don’t recommend pressuring washing clapboard siding. At high levels of pressure, a pressure washer can damage wood siding permanently. Pressure washing can also make it easier to drive water into the cracks of clapboard (which are recommended for easier drainage), causing moisture damage.

If you think your clapboard siding is so dirty it could benefit from pressure washing, we suggest contacting a pressure wash cleaning service and getting a quote on a wood siding project. Some siding manufacturers recommend never pressure washing because it can force water behind the siding.

You don't technically need to seal your driveway after pressure washing, but doing so will help keep your driveway clean for longer. The best driveway sealer depends on the type of driveway you have. To seal asphalt, consider an asphalt emulsion sealer, fast-drying sealer, or latex acrylic sealer. Concrete driveways commonly use acrylic sealers or penetrating sealers.

It depends on the type of surface, but if you’re preparing to pressure wash a driveway, you’ll start by using a broom or leaf blower to get rid of dirt, leaves, and other debris. Then, move any nearby items (like outdoor furniture and potted plants) and cover in-ground plants with a tarp or plastic sheet. After that, you can apply degreaser spray or another pretreatment solution to any stains and scrub them with a stiff brush before pressure washing.

On average, pressure washing a house can take anywhere from 30 minutes to three hours. The time frame to pressure wash or power wash your home, fence, or other property depends on the size of the project and the complexity and accessibility of the areas that need cleaning. Part of the time required to complete the job includes setup and removal of equipment needed. A two-story house with a steep roof may require working from scaffolding or a ladder, likely adding to the time required to finish the project.
