"Great job all around. The sales rep came to our home and was very transparent about the timeline of the install being 10 weeks out. Let us know we wouldn’t really hear anything until a couple of weeks before the install. They did demo all the way down to the studs, disposed of all trash, re plumbed and installed the new shower in 2 days! We did financing through power pay with them as well. At first you might have a bit of sticker shock, but the quality of the finished product and amazing staff is well worth paying for. Fernando was always on time and amazing to work with. Great job!"

"High Innovation has done both a kitchen and bathroom remodel for us. The most recent project was a primary and secondary bathroom. They always arrived on time and communicated if something would impede the schedule. They worked full days and often into the early evening. They maintained a clean and safe job site and were always open to our feedback or requests during the project. We are very happy with the finished product and are still enjoying both our kitchen and bathrooms. I would highly recommend High Innovation and would use them for any future projects we may have."

"It could not have gone any better from start to finish. We started with Paula who gave us our quote and she took it from there, recommending other vendors for the additional work needed which was plumbing and tile work. Those companies did excellent work as well. We would not hesitate to recommend Just For Granite at any time. Our kitchen looks wonderful and we could not be any happier."

"Tom executed the vision perfectly, assuring that the conversion did not look like an afterthought and fulfilled all our accessibility needs. His communication and professionalism were excellent and much appreciated. I did not hesitate to contract him again for a master bathroom remodel."

"Tracy and his crew were wonderful!  They responded quickly to my request (Thanksgiving guests were soon arriving).  Even though it was 5:00p.m. on a Friday, they didn't hesitate to tackle the job. I didn't realized I should have purchased the padding for them to install, so they generously offered to go pick it up for me. They completely their work quickly and professionally, leaving the entire 750 sq ft looking great.  I highly recommend them!!

Backsplash Installation questions, answered by experts

Popular options include ceramic, porcelain, stone, and glass tiles, chosen based on the area (bathroom, kitchen) and desired aesthetic.

Like glass tiles, you will not need to seal most porcelain tiles, particularly if the porcelain is already glazed. It depends on quality. Porcelain is very water resistant, but it is not 100% waterproof. To avoid staining, some homeowners use a penetrating sealer. It is also a good idea to seal your grout. Unless you use epoxy grout, grout is very porous and can harbor bacteria, mold, and mildew.

As long as you follow the instructions on your peel-and-stick tile packaging, it should not damage your walls. A possible instance when you may accidentally damage your walls is if you install tiles improperly using additional adhesives that aren’t recommended.

Also, you can damage your walls if you’re not careful when removing tile. For example, you could accidentally make holes in the drywall with a paint scraper if you don’t heat the adhesive long enough before trying to pry it off.

When working on your bathroom floor tiling, you should always tile the floor first and then refit the toilet afterward. This has both practical and visual advantages—the tile will have a better seal, and the installation will look cleaner.

On the other hand, when you try to cut the tiles to fit around the toilet, you’re putting yourself at a disadvantage. It’s a lot more work, it’s hard to be precise, and mistakes or miscalculations can lead to future moisture damage to the tiling, grout, and subfloor.

Mortar and thinset both serve the same purpose—tile adhesion—but have different compositions and use-cases. Thinset is heatproof and presents a wide range of possibilities due to the added polymers. Mortar is typically used for bonding stones and brick. Thinset is rarely used outside, while mortar is rarely used inside.
