"We hired Villa Silva to install tile for our new shower. I had originally planned to do it myself, but decided to let someone more experienced handle it. Best decision I have made recently. Fransisco definately knows tile and we are very happy with the installation. They also took care to protect our floors and carpet and kept the work area clean. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a tile pro. We are also having them back to install our LVP flooring and shower door."

"When I met George, we talked about options for my 2 cars carport at my backyard (measurements & time frame). He's very knowledgeable of what He is doing. He also manages His crew very well. Because of the small size of the penny tile, you want a trowel with small notches that can lay a thin layer of mortar on the surface you’re tiling. If the notches are too wide, you risk applying too thick of a layer of mortar, and it can squeeze out between the penny tiles.

Whether you use a brush or roller depends on the size, shape, and amount of tiles. Rollers are easier to maneuver over large areas and can apply a more even coat of paint in a shorter time frame with no visible brushstrokes. Brushes are best for precision work, particularly in very small areas. If you don't want visible brushstrokes on your painted tiles, you can paint details with small foam brushes instead of bristled paint brushes.

You can technically install tile over tile, but we don’t suggest it. For the best results, only install new tile on a flat, sanded surface like subflooring or concrete that is prepared for tile.

If you have asbestos tile and would rather tile over it than remove it, or if your existing tile is completely flat and bonded tightly to the floor, you may be able to tile over existing tile. But experts recommend thinking twice before you do.
