At NuFlow Indy, our specialty is sewer line repair utilizing trenchless methods. We help our customers save time and money, typically over 20-50% vs dig solutions (which we also do). We proudly offer military and first responder discounts as well! Trenchless sewer pipe repairs allow us to restore drain lines and sewer pipes without having to tear up your residence or commercial building. Because of this, the process offers many benefits, including: *Repairs usually take only a couple of hours. *Less-intrusive techniques mean saving landscaping, flooring, and walls in homes & businesses. *Efficient services save our customers time and money. Trenchless repairs meet industry standards and local utility standards, which are permanent. Nu Flow Indy also has specialized equipment for: *High Definition Self Leveling Camera Inspections. *Cleaning 100% of the pipe, not just poking a hole so water flows for a few more weeks. * Fixing your problem with either Dig or No Dig solutions. We look forward to the opportunity to provide you with a free quote!

"After receiving an extremely high water bill I contacted a contractor that I knew to have him look into it. His analysis was that there was a leak in the main water line which is something he did not do. After doing some research regarding various companies that provide service in this area I chose Nu Flow Indy to investigate based on their expertise as shown on their website and prior customer reviews. Jason Long arrived to investigate and determined that the issue was in fact in the main water line. Jason explained exactly what the process would entail and gave me his personal cell number as point-of-contact. A quote was sent detailing the process and cost and I contacted Jason to proceed with the replacement. Though there were some unforeseen issues that were no fault of Jason or Nu Flow Indy Jason resolved the issues pushing through until the new main water line was installed, completing the install of the new main water line and hookup at 11:20PM on the 2nd day. Jason had a team come back to fill in the trench and a "dig site" leaving the area with as little impact as possible. I thank Jason, Adam, Brian, Rudy, Matt & Rico for their dedication/professionalism. Also I want to add that these gentlemen are Great people."

"Great! We noticed our water heater was leaking and called for a new one. This led to a small line of plumbing issues that was the houses fault not Bedell Plumbing's. We got a new water heater and they did a great job but we had no water pressure in our shower. It turns out that turning off the water and turning it back on and thrown too much sediment into the shower head. Thus, they did a great job installing a new shower head that we love. We have turned the water off before when we travel but this must have been the final straw. We also have a water sensor in our sump pump that was 8 years old. It turns out it was on it's last legs and wouldn't try out but was replaced with a much nicer new model that we like much better. Then we still couldn't get a really hot shower as the weather got cooler and it turned out we had to much calcium build up on the valve to the shower. We actually should have done this 3 years ago and now we know better. Due to some other calcium build up we replaced the shower valve and all 3 bathroom sinks. Bedell Plumbing did an amazing job troubleshooting all this and hopefully we won't have any more plumbing issues for a while now. It was time for a water tune-up!!!!"

FAQs for excavation projects in Indianapolis, IN

Unfortunately, some plumbing scenarios, like a broken sewer pipe repair, will require excavation to complete the job. Plumbing excavation costs range from $30 to $70 per cubic foot. However, if you need additional trenching, expect to pay an extra $4 to $12 per linear foot. Keep in mind that these costs are on top of the plumbing repair costs, and they don’t account for labor costs. Consult your excavation specialist to determine an accurate estimate for your job.

The average cost for pool excavation is $2,500. This cost can range from $450 to $4,500, depending on the pool shape and size, time of year, and any need to move buried utilities.

When excavating for your pool, you might have to move existing utilities. You can expect to pay an additional $15 to $25 per linear foot to move gas lines. To move a septic system, it’ll cost an additional $2,000 to $20,000. A pool that is 10 feet by 12 feet averages $450 to excavate, and a 20-foot-by-40-foot pool averages $3,020.

The cost for residential excavation is $3,200 on average, ranging between $50 and $200 per cubic yard. Total costs could range from $500 to $15,000, depending on the project type, yard size, and soil type.

When a project needs an excavator, the contractor will subcontract one as part of the larger project. If you hire an excavation specialist, you can expect to pay between $40 and $180 per hour. When excavating, if you have soil with excessive rocks or clay deposits, expect an additional cost of $200 to $1,200.

Warm weather seasons like spring and summer are ideal times to excavate due to the ground being softer and easier to dig through. However, it is important to note that bad weather, like heavy blizzard conditions or torrential rainfall, can prolong the project length, increasing costs. That’s why it’s best to avoid excavating during winter or hurricane season, depending on your home’s location.

While completing an excavation project yourself is possible, we don’t recommend it. You’ll likely need to buy or rent the equipment necessary for the job. This equipment costs as $100 per hour or $2,200 weekly, increasing by as much as 50% for larger jobs.

In addition, completing an excavating job yourself poses a safety risk. If proper marking hasn't occurred, you risk hitting buried cables and other critical piping, like gas and water lines. Additionally, if working with excavation equipment, you’ll need to steer clear of any overhead wires. Leaving this project to an excavating professional is best.
