"I was totally awestruck by Mike's professionalism, knowledge and honesty. He was able to reassure me that my used computer is in tip top shape and has more memory then I even imagined. He was able to remotely get into my computer to check it out since he is in Arizona and I am in Oklahoma. Normally I would not have allowed this-but thanks to Mikes many tremendous reviews and A Grade I trusted him and do not regret it. In my opinion he deserves an A++! It's been 20 years since I have owned a desktop computer and I'm obviously not tech savvy! Mike did not take advantage of that and was even kind enough to share some info with me free of charge. "Warren worked me in the same day to diagnose the problem with our laptop. he offered to diagnose the issue at no cost. Later that same day he sent a text letting me know that he had a portion of the computer back up and running. The next day he let me know that the computer was fully operational. Very fast service. The only negative is that he made the necessary repairs to get the laptop up and running without letting me know what the problem was and what it would cost. The repair cost wasn't excessive, but given the current price of laptops, you can easily spend more on repairs of an older laptop than the cost to purchase a new one. Another thing to be aware of is, without advising you Warren wants to install a remote access APP on your computer so he can diagnose issues remotely. In my case the computer would not allow him to install the software. I suggest you clarify this item before he does work on your computer. Other than these minor items, I would recommend Warren."

"Anthony called at a predetermined time to help me with an issue that I had not experienced in the past.  He was very professional, extremely pleasant and when he took remote control of my computer, I knew we were in good hands.  He restored documents and pictures that I thought were hopelessly lost.  He also cleaned up and eliminated unnecessary programs.    I sat in the comfort of my home, sipping coffee while watching Anthony work his magic.  Take my tower to a shop where it will languish for two weeks?  No thanks!  I will be contacting Anthony for any future computer repairs.

"This was my best service experience in any industry in my recent memory.
The DC (or charging) jack on my wife's laptop was broken and the laptop would not take a charge.  I suspect that this is a part that not many people know can be repaired.  Many people have probably replaced their entire laptop when a $100 repair is all that is needed.
I contacted MR Computer and was able to drop off the laptop the same day.  At the time of drop off, he was not sure if he had the necessary part in stock.  If not, he would need to order it.  If that were the case, it would be approx 3 business days for it to be ready.  A turn around time that I was quite happy with.
Approximately 3 hours later he contacted me to tell me that the laptop was ready for pickup!
I'm very pleased with the cost.  Total cost was just $15 more than it would have cost to ship the laptop to one of the manufacturer's "authorized repair centers" and that would have just been for shipping.  I'd imagine that they would have charged just as much, if not more, for the repair itself.  Additionally, turn around time would have been weeks instead of hours.
He is located downtown, but his shop was very easy to find (especially if you have a GPS) and there is parking right at his front door.
I couldn't be more pleased with MR Computer and my wife thinks that I'm a hero.

"Excellent service, very fast response to my request for service, picked up laptop, diagnosed issues. Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. The laptop was repaired and returned in less than a week. This company picked up and dropped off the laptop (driving from Huntsville, AL (about 60-70 minutes)-- great service in this covid environment. "Every time he comes, we have 7 computers and he checks and updates everything and fixes everything that others couldn't fix. he configures the whole network in the house to make sure that all our computer are all hooked up and communicating with the network. he is clean, careful, and very professional with his work. "I called Luther on Friday morning while I was at work and set up an appt. for the same day. He came to my place exactly on time. Very punctual. He's also very neat and clean in his appearance and work habits. After signing an agreement on price so everything was clear and showing him my list of problems, he got right to work. Luther checked everything for viruses and then got rid of a lot of things that were making my computer run super slow. Then, after discussion, he uninstalled my antivirus program and installed his preferred program, which was very streamlined and easy to use. I just sits, running, in the background and doesn't interfere with my browsing experience. Luther also, by chance, had some "used" memory that worked with my pc. So he took my (very dusty and dog hairy) unit outside, gave it a good blowout and installed the memory for a very reasonable price. Luther told me my computer still has room for improvement (room available for more memory) but that this should improve things. It did....immensely.  Luther more than gave me my money's worth, I have to say and my computer is running like it should. I try to do a lot of my own troubleshooting on my computer, but after this experience I know I'm a rank amateur.  I'm really happy with my computer for now and I'll definitely be giving him a call in the future when I'm looking for a computer tech. "Went very well.....scheduled appointment at my convenience, was on time, and worked very quickly.  Showed what work he did.  I waited a couple of weeks before submitting this report to make sure I had no further issues.   Computer works fine and problem resolved.  I would use My Computer Buddy again.
