I grew up working with my dad in remodeling in the Chicagoland area. After college I had a few jobs in retail and insurance sales until eventually I ended up in telecommunications, installing radios on towers. It was the middle of January. I was 100+ feet in the air installing an antenna, repeatedly removing my gloves to finger tighten the parts and then immediately putting them back on to avoid frostbite. I hated that job. That night I happened to take a phone call with my brother-in-law from Indianapolis. We spoke about what he was making as a flooring installer and I knew that would be a better opportunity for me as I already knew how to install flooring. Shortly after that I had turned in my two week notice and six months later would move to Indy in order to build my clientele faster with my bro-in-laws network. In 2021 it was time to make a change from being an installer and project manager to being owning my own store. We focus on working with remodelers and local home owners. As of writing this, we have just signed a new lease for a store in Castleton right on Bash street. We believe that in making this move from the inner east side of indy to the north east corner we are better established to help our most consistent customer base. We can now be closer and more helpful to the people who appreciate our dedication to doing the job right.
