"LevelUp leveled a sunken sidewalk with the driveway, sealed the driveway & all sidewalk seams and then put a sealant over the entire concrete driveway and sidewalks. Their workers were very focused and paid great attention to detail. Looks great!"

"Great price for the work, had some concrete slabs of a 38 year old multi-slab patio leveled. very happy with the results to remove trip hazards and return proper slop for rain runoff. Hope that i wont need them again but will use them if I do and would recommend to anyone."

"We hired A. Bailey concrete to expand our driveway, add a walkway, and pour a basketball court. They were wonderful from beginning to end. Mr. Bailey and his crew were punctual, courteous, hard working, and willing to answer any and all questions that we had. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!"

"We couldn't be happier.  They came in and did the work around our schedule over 2 different Saturday (7 hours each day) just as planned.  They were punctual.  They were clearly most interested in doing the job right.  They explained how a back storage area needed drain tiletoo and installed it at no additional cost.  They wouldn't even let us unload the storage shelves full of heavy paint cans- insisting on doing the job start to finish with a smile and obvious pride in a job well done.  They cleaned the area when they were done and the sections of floor that they had to dig up are smooth with fresh concrete now. "

"Salesperson came out to our home. His name is Marty, nice guy. We told Marty what we wanted done. The crawlspace was done right. But we were not happy with the drainage.  our yard is a mess. I called the company to have them come back out.  It took me several days to get a hold of anybody.  Janet and her crew came back out and fixed some of the problems.  I would only use them for crawlspace issues. *  By the way I had someone else come out to take a look at there work on the drainage system. It was not done right.  I would think the owner would of come out to resolve any issues not the workers.

"We used Tony and crew in 2013 - he is a neighbor down the street and to know Tony and his wonderful family is to know you will be well taken care of. Tony answered any questions we had ahead of time promptly, We had some scheduling issues but only due to weather, and he was great at keeping us in the loop. I am happy to report that after three years the concrete still looked like new--virtually no cracks outside of the expansion joints, a beautiful finish texture and after years of driving on a half gravel, half concrete driveway that sloped TOWARDS the house I was just thrilled to have something that looked this nice...our driveway was one of the only ones that faced the road so the nice broom wave finish pattern just added to curb appeal. Loved the work, but not sure what I like more--the concrete or the man behind the mission. Thanks brother for great work! Hope to get to use you at the new place."

Concrete Mudjacking questions, answered by experts

Many contractors offer warranties for their work. Confirm terms before starting the project.

Yes, expanding foam (also known as polyurethane foam) can lift concrete. This approach, called polyjacking, involves injecting the foam rather than concrete slurry to fill voids and raise the concrete slab back into place. It’s often faster and requires smaller drill holes than traditional mudjacking, though it may come at a higher cost. Some contractors also prefer polyjacking over mudjacking for more damaged and delicate slabs.

Common issues with concrete that may require professional repair or resurfacing include cracks, spalling, uneven surfaces, and weather damage.

Trenching and boring are two distinct methods for installing underground utilities. Trenching involves digging a channel using equipment like an excavator, trencher, backhoe, or shovel. While it is a simpler process, it causes significant disruption to the surface, landscaping, and surrounding ecosystems.

Boring, also known as directional boring, is a less invasive alternative that uses a drill to create a tunnel for utility lines without disturbing the surface. This method is more precise and is ideal for installations that need to go underneath buildings, roads, or bodies of water. Although boring is less disruptive, it is generally more expensive than trenching.

The polyurethane used for polyjacking will expand and cure in 15 to 30 minutes. After that point, your slab will be safe to walk on and even drive on in the case of a sidewalk or concrete driveway. Double-check with your concrete lifting specialist to confirm a curing timeline, as products can differ.
