"I had the apron of my driveway and five sections of sidewalk replaced. They tore out the old concrete and cleaned all the debris and did a very nice job replacing all the concrete. They put back the sod that was removed and left the area looking very good. They communicated with me during the job to let me know what was being done. I would recommend them."

"Andrew P, Dakota B, and Kyle M worked on adding a new drainage system to our basement. They were polite, friendly, and very professional. They did an absolutely AMAZING job!!! Job site was cleaned when they left and they even helped carry out some extra trash I had (not part of the job - but they were happy to help). I highly recommend this crew!!!"

"I am happy with the result. There was an equipment issue that caused the job to take longer than anticipated, but Tony and his crew did a good job in working around that. The entire job was done in one day. To my pleasant surprise, the next day, Tony was back adding fill dirt along the edges of the new concrete, a task that I thought I would need to do myself."

"Outstanding all around! Mike and his crew are very pleasant individuals and were true to their word. They did the work we agreed to on the days that we agreed to -- including working Saturday and Sunday to complete the job -- at the cost agreed to. The results are excellent. We are delighted by the improvement inside the garage, for the carport to the left of the garage, and behind the garage. The concrete pad in the garage now slopes nicely toward the front of the garage, and there's a neat slot for the garage door to close into. On the left side of the garage, what previously was 3 separate concrete slabs all broken up that allowed water to pool in them are now a single seamless slab that drains toward the driveway. The stairs Mike and crew installed are robust and firmly anchored. I will definitely contact them again for future services.

"They first gave a fairly detailed quote, then in about a month came back to do the work.  They use a pier system and do all the excavation by hand so it does not tear up the yard.  Takes a little longer but in the end i was very good work.  Had to add on a lot of pipe, that should have been noted on the contract and agreed to before it was done, but in the end they only charged for the actual pipe used to pier to foundation.  Very good at clean up.  Recommend them highly if you want a fair and honest job.

"Considering it was January there were climate conditions of cold weather and muddy ground which they were completed prepared for. The arrived on time, well equipped with all necessary materials. They estimated three days and finished in three days.

The first day the dug the hole and put in new tile (which was not in the original estimate). They made several trips to inform us of the progress and ask our opinion on situations where we had a choice. The night before the second day we experienced thunderstorms and received over an inch of rain which made the site difficult to navigate. They had planned for this rain and there was no water in the hole next to the house. Temperatures dropped to 30 degrees that day but they stilled cut the hole and installed the window as planned. But the muddy ground made the third day necessary.

On the third day they completed all weatherizing for the new window and cleaned up the surrounding area completely and finished grading the outside yard and left it ready for grass seed.

We are completely satisfied in every way. We would definitely use them again."

"Reasonably priced. Efficient, professional crew. Did site prep, gravel base, form setup, pour, finish and seal in one day. Good site cleanup. 12x24' slab for metal building. Crew even helped voluntarily with moving some heavy furniture. Highly recommend!"

Concrete Mudjacking questions, answered by experts

It’s best not to perform mudjacking in the winter unless the ground temperature remains above freezing. Freezing temperatures can cause the slurry to harden too quickly, compromising its strength and longevity. Concrete is also more susceptible to cracking and splitting in cold temperatures, so there’s a higher risk of damaging the slab during the drilling and lifting process in winter.

Concrete leveling is not typically covered by insurance. In some cases where the shifting concrete is caused by a natural disaster or storm, you may be able to file an insurance claim if your policy specifically covers those circumstances. In most cases, though, you’ll pay out-of-pocket for concrete leveling.

Mudjacking typically takes 24 to 72 hours (one to three days) to dry and cure completely before you can resume normal use. The exact time can vary depending on the size of the project. Because the slurry mixture contains cement, it must fully harden to ensure that added weight from walking, furniture, or vehicles won't shift the concrete slab. A professional contractor can advise you on when the surface is safe to use. For comparison, if you use polyjacking instead, the polyurethane foam can dry in just a few minutes, but it's best to wait about an hour before use.

A slurry of cement, sand, and water is injected beneath the concrete to lift and stabilize it.

On average, a mudjacking repair lasts between five and 10 years, though it can sometimes last for well beyond a decade under ideal conditions. Its longevity depends heavily on several factors, including the condition of the underlying soil, environmental conditions like freeze/thaw cycles and erosion, and whether the root cause of the sinking, such as drainage issues, is resolved. Because it doesn't always fix the underlying problem of loose soil, mudjacking is often considered a temporary solution. Proper maintenance and evaluation can help extend its lifespan.
