"What a pleasant, easy experience! I worked with Damon, who spent this week finishing up a bunch of projects in my rental property. He was very straight with me about what I could do on my own to save myself a few $$, and went above and beyond pointing out things that I would want to consider looking into in the future (i.e. - he discovered that my furnace starter is out - I might not have noticed until next winter!). "Phelps construction has remodeled our kitchen twice in 25 years, updated our basement, treated a flat roof.  In 2011 I called them to help enlarge the basement laundry room and address some moisture issues.  The spring rains revealed larger problems and Phelps stuck with it trying to diagnose and address the issues.  Besides a larger and brighter, better functioning laundry room/storage center, the new windows and improved window wells have corrected several water issues and increased our energy savings.  The french drains installed in the front yard have also eliminated several issues with rain. 
The price quoted increased quite a bit as we added more projects, but the requests and work were driven by me, not the company.  So we paid feel we paid appropriately.  We got quite a lot done and are very happy with the results."
