I also know why Tom wasn't the cheapest. The cheapest guys we talked with seemed to care most about "we do more jobs than anyone and get them done fast..." Tom wasn't the most expensive either - he was fair and honest from start to finish. Bottom line - you get what you pay for. Nobody likes spending thousands of dollars on siding, but we feel relieved we won’t be spending thousands more to fix shoddy work down the road. We found/called Tom only because of his great reviews on Angie's List, and are glad we did."

They returned my call promptly, came out within a couple of days to give me an estimate. which I received by e-mail. When I accepted it, they scheduled the work for a few days later but ultimately had to reschedule from Friday afternoon to Monday morning because rain prevented them from finishing up a previous job. No big deal. Actually they did the job much sooner than I expected when I called them. They purchased a 30-inch door similar to the one that needed replacing, installed it and hauled away the trash.
