"If you are needing concrete or asphalt work done, you could not make a better decision than hiring Mr. Corrigan and crew. We had multiple issues and concerns with an especially large driveway that was long overdue for paving. They were all solved yesterday. 100% satisfied."

"I had Young & Sons grade and pour a 450 sq foot extension to my asphalt driveway. They did a phenomenal job, pouring a thick quality product and taking the extra care to cut/square up the existing drive so it was flush. I had an ongoing project over the space that required us to cut some space for concrete footers, Jami and Casey worked with the crew to come back and squeezed us in for that in the middle of their extra busy season. Casey responded to an email from me at 9:30pm! If you are looking to support a solid local business, with amazing people and a quality product, look no further than Young & Sons"

"Project went well. Kathy got me a written estimate right away with options. Spent $140 to have lawn aerated. They notified me 48 hours in advance as I requested before the service and the person arrived Friday morning was very polite and easy to talk to. Followed my requests to do only certain sections of my lawn (no to the dog area). I hope to do more busy with them in the future."

"Extremely well. The owner and his employees were considerate and always concerned with our property and that of our neighbor. In a relatively small space  their creative ideas and use of colors and patterns turned an eyesore into a place we can enjoy and share with family and friends. The project was completed in four days and a pool that was in close proximity was as pristine as the day the project started. The work is hard and tedious and we greatly appreciate their patience in answering our questions and keeping us informed on their progress, and what was coming next. Good folks, fun to be around. It took us a while to find Grounds
Quality Lawn Care and it was worth the wait.

Small jobs welcome

"I would recommend the Ranches Landscaping for anyone. Jose is the owner and he does the work. His pricing was much lower than the bigger landscaping companies. Actually the bigger landscaping companies hire him and add pure profit for themselves. Don't waste your time getting the big companies. The Ranches Landscaping does a professional job. They take pride in their work and are also willing to negotiate on the price."

Paving Services questions, answered by experts

Driveway pavers are often worth the cost. Paver types like cobblestone, brick, and concrete are highly durable, and permeable paver options can be tremendously eco-friendly. While you may pay more for a paver driveway, you’ll see great returns from the increased curb appeal and low maintenance compared to other types of driveways.

It is possible to DIY complete hardscaping projects, but in most cases, hiring a professional is best to get the job done correctly. Hardscaping—including installing patios, decks, retaining walls, walkways, and water features—is challenging and time-consuming, so the money you spend on a professional is typically worth it. Not only will the quality be better, but you could avoid problems that come along with a lack of hardscaping experience, like drainage issues that can lead to costly foundation damage and leaks in your home.

Whether you should resurface or replace your asphalt driveway heavily depends on its condition. If the foundation is solid and the damage is minor, resurfacing is your best bet because it’s more affordable and faster than replacing the driveway. But if your driveway has foundational problems and/or severe damage, like large, deep cracks and potholes, then it makes more sense to replace it.

Gravel is the cheapest way to extend a driveway. Gravel is an affordable, practical option that’s easy to install and perfect for DIY projects, helping you save on labor costs. It can be quickly spread and leveled to create extra driveway space without heavy preparation. While gravel doesn’t offer the same durability or finished look as concrete or asphalt, its low cost makes it ideal for budget-conscious homeowners who want a functional solution without overspending.

Yes, recycled asphalt driveway costs can be substantially lower than new asphalt. With new asphalt costing between $90 and $190 per ton, this option can cost as much as 10 times more than laying down asphalt millings.
