My husband and I removed old wallpaper in the kitchen with a steamer.  We got all the wallpaper down, but it left the walls a mess.  I'm also in the process of painting the whole house, and there some rooms that are difficult for me to do myself.  The walls in the stairwells are two stories tall and the master bath and bedroom have cathedral ceilings.

We found Danny on Angie's List and called for an estimate.  He showed up for the appointment on time, he was thorough in his estimate, polite and interested in the project.  He gave us a good deal even worked with my schedule to get the project booked right away. 

Danny and his team showed up at 8:00, explained the plan for the day, and worked until 6:00.  The next day, a huge team showed up before 8:00 and worked all day until around 7:00.  The project was estimated to take four days to complete and they got it done in two, which gave me two days of vacation back!

The job looked perfect.  Not a drop out of place on anything.  This was a big concern  for me because we just had all new hard wood floors put in and I didn't want any paint mishaps to damage the floors.  They were mindful of the furniture and electronics and very careful with the floors.  Hi team was very polite and hardworking.  They spent the last hour of each day cleaning up so I had very little to do after everything was done.

Danny and his brother checked in with me during the project to ask questions about how we wanted something done, to ask for feedback, to check on the progress, etc.  He inspected the job himself as the team was finishing up and even called later in the week to see if we were happy.

Danny and his team did a wonderful job.  It was a good price on a big project (drywall repair - yuck!), and they did it quickly and perfectly.  They were punctual and  polite.  I would recommend them to anyone and we will certainly end up using them again in the future!

"It went great.  The walls in one bathroom were in rough shape owing to wallpaper removal efforts on my part.  I thought Pro Decor would just paint the room but they exceeded expectations with the skim coat.  The ceiling in the kitchen had a bad seam where a wall had been removed and badly patched by a contractor.  Pro Decor dug out those bad results and fixed it correctly.  It all looks great and the price was equally great."

"Purchased an Angies "Big Deal" coupon for drywall repair and paint. Chad Young promptly returned phone call and scheduled a time to come for estimate. I went over what I wanted done and received an estimate by email the same day. A start date was then scheduled for about two weeks into the next month. Chad's crew arrived promptly ready to work. While reviewing the job with the two crewmen, I asked if they had time to add the repainting of an entertainment unit that I had not originally asked for a bid on. They very graciously agreed to do so. Because the entertainment unit took two days, the entire job took three days, plus a little time to come back and "re set" the toilet after a wallpaper patch was finished. The quality of work is absolutely excellent -- from their neatness while working, right on through their clean-up--all the work was meticulously done. "I called Jeff to estimate removing 30-year old wallpaper in two rooms. He dropped by the following day and gave me a very reasonable estimate. I hired him and he started the following week. Would have started earlier but had a holiday in between. He and an assistant had to work hard to remove all the vinyl wallpaper, but were successful. After, scraping mudding, sanding and priming over the following 2 days they taped what was necessary and painted both rooms. They did an excellent job; no drips or smears on the floor or wood trim. The cleaned up each evening before leaving. I was very pleased with the final results."
