"Jack took detailed notes during home quote visit and provided us an initial estimate over the phone. His proposal was comparable to other bids we got. We decided to move forward and he sent us a written estimate via email. The first estimate was slightly over original amount due to known possibility with electrical and additional work we wanted. They started the project and it took about 6 weeks to complete. There were some bumps in the beginning with days/time they were working but we were able to sort that out and all was good. Ralph was the main guy that did most of the work. He did a nice job and made sure to clean up after the end of each day. Basement turned out great and We are very happy with it."

"I have been in construction for nearly 50 years, so I have developed a keen eye for quality craftsmanship. Our project was no small project, so there was a genuine concern that the right company be hired to do our project. Jim takes a great deal of pride in the work that he is installing and demands that from his employees as well. Secondly, Jim has excellent communication skills, not only in responding to phone calls or text messages, but explaining what he will be doing each step of the way. I would have no problem referring J T General Contracting to family and friends and will be using Jim for our future projects."

We came up with 3 different designs and decided to move forward with the boldest option and removed the wall between our small kitchen and dining room. Sal's team helped us nail down the materials and cabinet selection. The contruction took a a bit longer than we thought and Sal's team has been up front with timeline and kept us up to date with progress and potential issues. After we removed the wall, we didn't install another beam and keep the ceiling flush. It really opens up the space and leaves us much more space for a large kitchen island. It's a dream kitchen for our family and we cook almost daily, so it's important space for our home. Sal's team executed the plan really well and paid attention to details. They kept the rest of the house generally clean and always cleaned up at the end of each day. The final product turns out excellent!"
