"Great! They were unable to get all the way to the street from the catch basin. It was suggested I add a sewer clean out assure all the roots were gone and make it easier for future cleaning. This was suggested in the past, by another company , but the cost was out of sight. This company was very fair in price for both the cleaning (which included the inspection with the camera) and for the clean out installation."

"I called Intelligent plumbing based on reviews from Angie's List.  They came out and I told them about my problem with the sewer back up.  I was hoping they could put a camera in the sewer line from inside my house, but their policy is that they do not open up sewer lines inside the home (it was drained by this time with no risk of backup into my house, but that is their policy - I was fine with that).  My house is older, so it had no exterior cleanout.  I knew from previous experience that the line leaving my foundation was cracked and offset, so I approved them excavating my yard and replacing the line (about 10 feet or so).  This went very smoothly.  They put in the clean out then proceeded with a camera to see if there was any blockage towards the curb.  I saw on the video that there were roots blocking the flow so they proceeded to use a cutter tool. Unfortunately, this was not a great success, but they were able to get enough blockage out of the way to see that there was another crack in the pipe near the sidewalk.  Because of this, we came to an agreement that they would dig that section out and replace the broken pipe with PVC.  They felt bad about this second job being necessary after the first job was done, but there was no option and they informed me that the replacement near my house may not be the only issue.  Bottom line is that the pipe was fixed in two spots, they put in a clean out and I feel good that the job was well done and backed up by this team.  The only way this could have possibly gone better was if they were able to inspect the line from inside my house then I would have know immediately that I had two problems to deal with instead of one.  Intelligent took care of all of the permits and also replaced one square of concrete in the sidewalk. I have used Intelligent plumbing since this work was completed.

"Dominick was very professional in his analysis of our needs. Understood our budget and provided a quote during his first visit. Followed up and did not exert any high pressure tactics while we waited for quotes from competitors. Always available to answer questions. Installation crew was prompt, very courteous and their installation was skilled. Crew had to move both washer and dryer in order to gain access to sump pit. Cleanup was very thorough and without any complaints. Would do business with this company again and recommend them to anyone."

"Mike and Matt were great, they were skilled, efficient, and friendly. I thought replacing an under-mount stainless steel sink in an existing granite cutout would be very difficult at best. I knew replacing the faucet and disposal would be a routine job. I was pleasantly surprised that the entire job went fine and they were finished in 2.5 hours. They cleaned up the work area and hauled away the old sink, etc. I will say that their prices are high, but I was willing to pay for quality work, especially with the tricky sink replacement."

"Our sewer line had severed where it comes out of the house. This caused our toilets to start backing up, so we placed an emergency call on a Sunday. The tech came within about an hour and diagnosed the problem with their camera inspection equipment. It was raining and the tech had to feed the camera line from the cleanout in our front yard, but he was as friendly and kind as could be. Once he had diagnosed the problem, he spent a fair amount of time getting the repairs scheduled for later that day, which involved coordinating his crew, the village, and JULIE, since they had to dig up the front yard to fix the issue. The crew arrived later that day - they were also extremely professional and extremely pleasant to deal with.
While the repairs were very expensive, I was very impressed with everyone from Black Diamond. They seemed genuinely happy to help us with our emergency, even though it meant spending a Sunday working in the rain and high humidity. Since they had to leave the hole open overnight, they were careful to cover the hole completely with plywood so that no one would accidentally
fall in.They returned early Monday morning to backfill the hole in our yard, once the village had inspected the work.
 I will definitely use these guys for any plumbing issues that I have from here on.

He showed up on time, informed me he'd had to move another appt around as mine was more pressing and charged me less than what I was thinking it was going to be. He replaced my worn out flow valve, cut a new piece of pipe, and installed a new sump pump all in less than an hour. 5 out of 5, would hire again."
