This was suggested in the past, by another company , but the cost was out of sight. This company was very fair in price for both the cleaning (which included the inspection with the camera) and for the clean out installation."

They offered me an alternative for rodding the waste stacks and we are considering it. There was no heavy pressure, just good information and description. "Nick did a great job and quickly got my drain unclogged. The previous owner had appeared to have leaks at some point and rather then replace the P trap they had just glued it over and over. Nick was able to get it removed and replace it with new pipes. I will definitely call Green Tech again for all my plumbing needs."

"It turned out that the ejector pump was OK, but the switch that controlled automatic discharge of the pump was not working. The estimate to do the work was quite high. ($653.00). Here's how it broke down: [1] Parts: (the switch): $193.27, [2] Labor: Remove Ejector pump from basin, install new switch, and then seal basin back up. Note: it took the plumber less than 1 hour to do this job. So he charged us $459.73 an hour for labor! This company must have neurosurgeons moonlighting as plumbers. We only agreed to this flat rate due to the emergency situation of water flowing into our basement when we did the laundry or flushed the toilet downstairs. Lesson learned: never hire a plumbing company that does their work for flat fees. The technician Steve was certainly knowledgeable and efficient, but his services do not warrant $460 an hour! This job should have only cost us about $400 at the most, not the $653 charged. I suggest that you do not use this company unless you don't mind spending a lot more money than you need to. To provide context, we completely replaced our ejector pump a few years ago and the cost was $500. Caveat emptor."

"Dominick was very professional in his analysis of our needs. Understood our budget and provided a quote during his first visit. Followed up and did not exert any high pressure tactics while we waited for quotes from competitors. Always available to answer questions. Installation crew was prompt, very courteous and their installation was skilled. Crew had to move both washer and dryer in order to gain access to sump pit. Cleanup was very thorough and without any complaints. Would do business with this company again and recommend them to anyone."

"Called from out of town as a tenant needed the garbage disposal fixed, was in a bind as tenant had a short window that it could be replaced.   
The woman on the phone was very helpful and sent someone out the same day.
Garbage disposal was fully replaced, total cost was $685.  Most "badger" models (the one that was used) retail for under $100, so labor for under 2-hours was over five hundred dollars!
Also replaced the chain in the toilet tank (for free).

I recently purchased my home and have had several contractors come out and take a look at plumbing issues, F3 was by far the most straight forward and gave me a great quote. I ended up having them fix a leak in my water main line, rod the sewer, replace and upgrade my 50 gallon water heater with a 75 gallon water heater, demo and reinstall a full bathroom with bath tub, tile, and floor replacement (looks brand new beautiful and modern), and install a brand new dishwasher with a new connecting water line. Everything looks great and was professionally installed and they hauled away all of the trash. Great company and highly recommend!"

"Due to recent area flooding, this job is in high demand. It can be difficult to get a plumber to respond to you at all, and some are taking advantage of the situation and are quoting high. I spoke with 7 plumbers and got quotes from 4. The price range of the quotes was $4900-10,000, which tells you that there was some creative quoting going on. Essential Plumbing and Sewer was not the cheapest, but was the best combination of price, professionalism and flexibility. Fernando and his wife, Maria (who runs the office) are very kind people who don't mind taking the time to answer your questions. They are good email users, which makes having discussions easy.
This job is a dirty job- your basement is jack hammered, dirt is removed, pipes removed, new pipes installed, dirt replaced, cement pored. It takes 3-4 days. For a job like this you need to work with people you trust and who will take care of your home. Essential Plumbing and Sewer took care to protect our house with tarps, etc, and did a decent clean up job at the end of each day. 
Most importantly, Essential Plumbing worked well with me and the village in terms of permits and inspections, which is essential for me as our village has a cost sharing program for this job which requires certain steps to be followed. It all went smoothly, and we passed inspection easily.
