"Great! They were unable to get all the way to the street from the catch basin. It was suggested I add a sewer clean out assure all the roots were gone and make it easier for future cleaning. This was suggested in the past, by another company , but the cost was out of sight. This company was very fair in price for both the cleaning (which included the inspection with the camera) and for the clean out installation."

They offered me an alternative for rodding the waste stacks and we are considering it. There was no heavy pressure, just good information and description. "Nick did a great job and quickly got my drain unclogged. The previous owner had appeared to have leaks at some point and rather then replace the P trap they had just glued it over and over. Nick was able to get it removed and replace it with new pipes. I will definitely call Green Tech again for all my plumbing needs."

"Ok. Had to order the water filtration system. Then had to come back to install and then again because the correct faucet (brushed nickel) took longer to get. The two bathroom repairs were over $500. Bill doesn't break down so u can see cost of parts, labor, etc. Service men were very professional and courteous and neat. Probably would not use again because they are very expensive.

"A lot more to discuss about this than I would like. Drain tile construction seems fine, which is the most important part of this project by far! We will learn more upon a rainy season in the fall or spring. Demo was not as clean as we would have liked. We have steel studs in basement, so they pushed out walls to put drains to window wells behind electrical conduit for outlets. This ripped the drywall off of studs and pulled framing away from windows. We had to rerun electricity around the new drains and do some repairs because of this. If we had wood studs, we do not think that they would not have been able to cause as much damage, so this shortcut cost us some work. There is also a small dent in our ceiling on the main floor from when they were carrying materials. Dust was everywhere. They left the door to the basement open during demo and construction so dust was all over our main floor. Also, they mixed the concrete in our garage, so everything we move out of the basement to avoid dust is now covered in concrete dust. This is very difficult to remove since mixing with water will form more concrete. They asked what we need from them to fix this, but we do not see a good solution other than wiping down each individual item ourselves. It's a lot of work we spent a lot of time trying to avoid by following Alex's recommendations. There was a miscommunication and Reliable Basements did not put the new sump pump in, plus the check valves were put 2 inches from the lid of the sump pit leaving the pit inaccessible to us. After several attempts at communicating with them, they responded and replaced it and fixed the check valve placement in a timely manner. They missed a crack in the foundation, but were quick to come out and fill it for the same price they offered during the drain tile installation."

"Called from out of town as a tenant needed the garbage disposal fixed, was in a bind as tenant had a short window that it could be replaced.   
The woman on the phone was very helpful and sent someone out the same day.
Garbage disposal was fully replaced, total cost was $685.  Most "badger" models (the one that was used) retail for under $100, so labor for under 2-hours was over five hundred dollars!
Also replaced the chain in the toilet tank (for free).
Good service - terrible price.

They were very thorough and progressed through multiple steps of rodding and jetting before finally having to dig in the yard to add a cleanout to resolve my sewer issue. The entire team was contentious and intent at every step. Unfortunately, my 60+-year-old pipes needed a bit more than could be managed from inside the house. Not only were they professional and aggressive in resolving the issue, but they were also very responsive to our urgent needs and showed up when they said they would for every visit. "Black Diamond has been one of the best finds we have had as new homeowners.  I like it because it is a one-stop shop and it is very easy to get an appoinment in a reasonable time with a knowledgable expert.  Of course, it will be more expensive than calling an individual practitioner, but as the saying goes, "you get what you pay for..."  We had a crack in our toilet bowl when we purchased our house and it got bigger over time.  It was leaking small amounts of water, so we thought it was best to get it fixed before it became a bigger problem.  I had a plumber scheduled to come out the next day who was able to remove and haul away our old toilet and install the new one.  We are very happy with the service this company provides, and also became Crystal Club members.  The membership includes certain benefits as well as a few included annual services (ac tuneup, furnace tuneup, inspection, water heater flush).  These services alone will more than pay for the membership, so it is worth it.
