After meeting with 10+ contractors in the Burr Ridge area, we chose BSC Landscaping and could not be happier with him and his team. We bought our home primarily due to the lot which features mature trees, hills, and a creek passing through. These features required a team that could navigate the complexity of building with water runoff, preservation, and a balance between nature and hardscaping in mind. They absolutely nailed it! BSC installed a paver patio, replaced an old swail with a natural-looking boulder and cobblestone creek bed, cleared overgrown weeds, installed trees, and seeded large areas to expand our lawn to gain more space for kids to play. We just hired them again to redesign our front yard which includes a paver parking space and the installation of a property border featuring a range of plants and trees. "We have hired Aerate 1 several times and have always been thrilled with their work. They planted a tree and provided pruning after the tree matured. They surrounded our above ground pool with drainage covered by pea gravel inside brick, and installed a paver walkway to the pool's heater. They landscaped the front and side with mulch inside brick. Every time they do work they make the site look better than when they arrived, even in areas only slightly impacted by their work. I highly recommend their company due to their excellent work and commitment to keeping their promises about when and what will be done!"

"Almanza is the best in the area, I've learned the hard way. Had them as regulars for landscaping a few years back. They were great for the most part - Raul was excellent at doing extra jobs (paving, tree-cutting) fast and prompt at very reasonable prices. The yard looked great. However, when fall cleanup came, the crew left a lot of debris behind. During the summer, they also trimmed stuff I asked them not to trim and didn't trim what I wanted them to. I chalked it up to the crew though. Raul has always been great and I complained to him about it, noting I couldn't renew the contract with the same weekly crew. Not hearing from him about a different crew, I too hastily terminated the contract. BIG mistake. Subsequent lawn care and landscape specialists have been totally abysmal compared. I've learned that the weekly crews of any company are not as honest, hardworking, scrupulous, etc. as the owners but you have to put up with that stuff. It's just part of the game apparently. Looking back, aul's crew wasn't perfect, but they were a lot better than any others I've had. If you have him as a landscaper, keep him. A good dude. I've regretted my action more every year."

"Some guys say the happiest day of their life was when they married their wife, however, for me it was when D&D Landscaping finished my front yard. ð All kidding aside they performed an exceptional job that was above and beyond my highest expectations. They completely removed all previous landscaping and installed all new landscaping along with a watering system for the shrubs/trees and a beautiful lighting system. I highly recommend D&D Landscaping for the incredible job they do, but they are also seemingly one of the few landscaping companies that are fully insured with both Liability Insurance and Workmanâ s Compensation Insurance, which was also highly important to me."

"Midwest Landscaping did a top-notch job on my front yard. I had 2 trees that needed major trimming, along with thinning of an over abundance of hostas. Pat was very personable and friendly, making it easy for me to voice my wishes and concerns. He explained in detail the big branches he would cut, where and how he would place the flagstone paths & outcropping stones and also the new nursery stock his workers would be planting. He and his team were quick and professional completing their work and clean-up in one day. They moved and re-planted some of my existing plants too, expertly placing them and changing my helter-skelter overgrown hosta carpet to a beautiful park-like setting. Beginning with something that looked overly oppressive & shady, my front landscaping now looks light, airy and welcoming. My curb appeal has just gone up 100%!
