"I have been rehabing my moms home to sell and thing have been REALLY stressful. I had two windows that were cracked that I have been looking to get fixed for more than two months. I have had several window companies tell me it was “impossible’ to replace glass panes in thermo sealed windows. I was quoted $10k for one window replacement 😬 Jon showed up like a miracle! He was extremely responsive to my initial inquiry, was onsite promptly to assess the two cracked windows and noticed another window that had a broken seal. He provided a reasonable repair estimate for the three windows and was back to complete the work within three business days! "11/04/18 I am changing this review. One of the things they did was cut off the bottom of the sliding door so it would slide easier. The work was done in August. I didn't notice until fall / winter, there was no weather striping and the wind was blowing in, actually snow was blowing in. I had to have a new sliding door installed which I did 2/22/18. I never did hear back from them about the balances for the double-hung windows. Very prompt service. I contacted them Tuesday, August 22, 2017, the sliding door was repaired the following Monday. Alex explained the repair (it needed a new track) and why it was needed. The double hung window needs new balances, Alex is checking into the part. I was very happy with their work and will recommend them to anyone who needs a sliding door repaired. I had contacted 3 other companies. One said it couldn't be fixed, buy a new door; one didn't respond; and one was to busy to handle the repair now. I am thankful Sliding Door Repair Service was able to help me. They did such an excellent job!"

"The Chicago Window Guys is a great company to have install your windows and doors. the owner Russ came out and was not aggressive or pushy like other companies. He was patient and truly listened to what me needs were. Since I have a big home I wasn't able to have all my windows done at once. This was ok! Russ worked with my budget and I got a new patio door, kitchen window and living room window. I was concerned about how well they will block out noise since I live close to a train track. The door and windows are great at reducing noise and keeping my home cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The installers were professional and did a great, high quality and thorough job. "I was having a problem with the glass door of my shower, with the door scraping against the hinged side of the glass. AG Glass arrived when they said they would and completed the repair right then. "Excel, did an excellent job answering our million questions and was courteous. We had an issue that wasn't Excel's fault. My wife wanted the patio doors that has the blinds inside the window. But the last update that Excel received from our village was it doesn't meet code. So we had to go with the regular patio doors. So once the windows and patio door was replaced, the village had to approve it. So as the village inspector was doing his job, I took it upon myself to ask why the village doesn't allow patio doors with blinds inside the windows. The inspector informed me that we can, the particular code was changed some time back. Excel wasn't aware of the change, so we immediately called Excel informing them of what we just heard. Excel without hesitation got us the windows that my wife originally wanted. Excel made my wife happy, which made me happy later on that night & that night our patio doors were changed to the ones she wanted!!! Thanks Excel!!"

"Robert was extremely responsive and timely. We needed exterior lighting to all be upgraded/replaced before our new siding and soffits could be installed. We were on a tight timeframe. Robert came to give a quote a day after we spoke on the phone, and a week later the work was done. He did it all in about 6 hours. Robert also gave us a quote on some interior work, drywall/ceiling repair and some other things in our kitchen. We will be contacting him soon to schedule this work. We have finally found our do-it-all person. Knowledgeable and so polite. Highly recommend."
