Apparently, my house was built on the day no one was inspecting. The builder never cut open the soffits. That meant there was zero airflow going through my attic. The attic fan could run all day, but without air to move, it would not do any good. Only Robert noticed this and offered a solution to fix the problem! "The salesman who originally came out was GREAT! However, installation was a different story. The didn't tarp off the door as some of the other "big boys" do so my heat was overcompensating throughout my house. Not too mention, when they used the saw, the dust/smells filled my house which isn't ideal because I have 3 kids 2 and under. During inspecting of the finished project, the seams of the door were left unfinished and gaps between the frame and wall which I understand happens due to warping etc, but they did not want to caulk it because they claimed they "never do" and didn't even have a white interior caulk to finish it off so after insisting, they used a dark tan caulk and didn't care to finish it properly, which in my opinion for the INSANE price you pay, they should. They were very friendly but once I gave them payment, they were really not very willing to help fix the issue. As I ran my finger over the edge to show them the unfinished edges, I got fiberglass in the pad of my finger - what if one of my kids did that? For the price, it should've been perfect and it wasn't. We now have to spend extra time sanding, caulking, and painting after we shelled out thousands on the door and installation. Friendly people but not worth the money..."
