Joe came out, on time, and was very helpful and professional. He gave us the best price from among 3 bids, saving us hundreds. The installers were punctual and went above and beyond, even cleaning up beautifully at the end. Will definitely use them next time I replace flooring.

We were extremely pleased with the entire process of selection, pricing and workmanship for our newly purchased vacation home. This was a product we had not used and needed guidance on types, colors, durability etc. Joe and his son were very knowledgeable and allowed us time to make an informed decision. They did a beautiful job with installation and were very accommodating with our schedule since we were from another state. Our place looks beautiful and we would highly recommend this business.

"I'm not really sure who [Member Name Removed] is. We don't have anyone by that name in our system. We did have a (gentleman) by the last name of [Member Name Removed]come in the store around the first of the month (October 1st.) and told us Lowe's had installed some Luxury Vinyl Plank over hardwood, and now the plank is peaking. He said Lowe's would not do anything. I told Mr. [Member Name Removed]it sounded like the hardwood under the LVP had gotten wet from the storm and has buckled,and that COULD BE what is causing the LVP to peak. I advised Mr. [Member Name Removed]to call an independent flooring inspector to look at it and he can ascertain what is causing the floor to fail. I gave Mr. [Member Name Removed]the name of a flooring inspector. Mr. [Member Name Removed]left a voice mail saying the inspector didn't call him back. Since hurricane Florence and hurricane Michael, I'm sure they are very busy. If this is the same Mr. & Mrs. [Member Name Removed]I apologize if the inspector didn't call you back, and any inconvenience that may have come from that. I can’t say enough about this company. They were on time and very personable. Fantastic job. They know what they are doing. Have been installing for 20+ years. Didn’t take long at all, about 5 hours. We had called 3 other company’s for an estimate and Joe was the best and very comparable. Had quote within a day and we went to his business and he helped us with picking the floor we explained we wanted. We’ll be using them again when we replace our other rooms in our condo. Joe came to our house on a Monday and did the measuring. He got back to us the same day with a quote. The following Monday, three men came to do the work and were finished in about six hours. They moved all the furniture, removed the old carpeting and padding and installed the new carpeting and padding. They were very courteous and careful with everything and we are so happy with our new carpeting. I loved the way everything went so smoothly. I would recommend Carpet King to anyone.

I called them twice, first talking to Joe the owner, second time talking to Joey. Both times I explained I had a small vynil project to confirm their interest. Both times they said the owner would call back, once in a half hour, once after finishing with a customer. Neither time did I get a call back.

We were still busy with repairs after Hurricane Mathew. We were wrong for not returning his call. This is why we appreciate Angie's List for keeping us on our Toes! The carpet removal and hardwood installation took about 10-14 days to complete. It was a large job. The lead installer was very accomplished and was patient with his helper who was just learning the job. The installation went very well and the end result met all of my expectations. When the job was complete a thorough clean-up was done.

The carpet took about two weeks to order. The date of installation would be during our cruise however friends staying at our home offered to oversee the installation. It took 3 days for the crew to take out our furniture (included in price), remove old carpet and install new. We had the entire second floor recarpeted and we have a lot of heavy furniture. We arrived home delighted to see the entire job completed. Our friends said that the crew of installers was extremely professional. They arrived on time and worked steadily until the job was done. I would recommend this company to other home owners in need of new carpeting.

Joe came and measured and gave us an estimate which we accepted. Our kitchen already had laminate down when we purchased the house 2 years ago and we were afraid that it couldn't be matched as the kitchen flows into the dining room. Joe was able to not only match it, he got the exact same flooring. The installers were excellent, moved the furniture and were very clean. They were able to "weave" the space between the dining room and kitchen and it is virtually unnoticeable. We are very pleased with the workmanship. If we ever need carpeting or flooring installed Carpet King and Flooring will be our go to flooring company. We would recommend Carpet King and flooring to all our friends. Just another thought, the installers came during the worst ice storm that the Grand Strand has seen in years!
