The reason I removed one star is because I believe the quoted contract price, specifically for allowances, can improve. You should expect to add a minimum of $20,000 to your contract price. I also recommend referring to your contract throughout to ensure you aren’t getting an extra charge for something that should be included. Like I said, the quality of work is fantastic, but the up front pricing can improve."

"I called Jakubek earlier in the year to get a quote for a kitchen remodel. I had a few requests for the remodel: take down a wall, get more counter and cabinet space and install a dishwasher (finally after 12 years in my house without one!). Dawid and Robert came out to my home and discussed with me what I wanted, took measurements and said they would need a few days to come up with a design. They gave me recommendations of websites to start looking at finishes and suggested I start thinking of what I would want for floors, counters, cabinets, etc. A few days later, they came back with an awesome design that incorporated all of the requests in a beautiful and functional manner. So not only did I have the kitchen done (including all new wood cabinets and quartz counters, took down the wall and moved the footprint/layout of the kitchen), I had new hardwood floors installed on my first level and had existing hardwood floors and stairs refinished on my second floor. They painted my entire first floor and upstairs hallway, installed all new trim on my doors and windows on my first and second floor and replaced all my doors too!
