We had roaches off and on for many months, despite a good cleaning regime etc., and eventually realized other units in our shared building had the same issues. Mica quickly and precisely diagnosed the source of the issue, was real with us about time and possible costs, worked with us in coordinating multiple units, patiently answered all questions, and in the end helped my neighbors and I deal with this extremely persistent issue in a relatively short time frame. He approached treatment with a lot of care and thought, in particular listening and adjusting for our concerns re: safety of our young toddler. This was a big one for us! Plunkett’s was a bit more expensive than some other pest control companies we looked at, but neighbors had already tried multiple other services and it never got rid of the issue. Upon installation of a lawn irrigation system, you will receive 2 seasonal service contract, which includes the start up and shut down of your system, a fertile system which fertilizes your lawn(fee), repels bugs and rust, also a hose enclose which hides your garden hose for those small jobs (fee).

"Installed our system 6 years ago, the system has worked well since install. I would just say get everything in writing and make sure to ask what the life time warranty means. Also check on when they can do you turn on and turn off they are very limited! Where we live they only do one specific day per week so if you cannot be home on that day you will be in trouble twice a year to be home for them."

Flea eggs can’t take heat, so use that information to your advantage. Take any affected clothes and linens and wash them on a hot setting (140℉ or higher) to kill them off. You can also rid carpets and furniture using heat. After vacuuming all surfaces thoroughly, use a steam mop or cleaner to get rid of the remaining flea eggs and residue.

No. Carpenter ants range far when seeking out food, usually proteins or sugars. They may be attracted to dead pests near your house, or crumbs in the kitchen or pantry. That doesn’t necessarily mean you have an infestation, or that there is a nest nearby. However, it does mean that the ants have found a way to enter your home, so it’s time to be vigilant.

A solution of one part bleach to 10 parts water or a disinfecting product that contains phenol (such as Lysol) is known to kill hantavirus and other pathogens found in mouse urine and feces. Simply spray this solution over and around the locations you expect mice to be living and running through, and the homemade disinfectant will do its job to rid your home of any feces and urine particles you could be exposed to.

If there is food sources and other places to build a nest, wasps may come back after their nest is gone. However, if you take measures to repel wasps, like planting pest-repellent plants or sealing cracks and gaps around the outside of your home, they aren’t likely to return. Be diligent at checking for new nests each spring to get rid of them as soon as possible and prevent bigger swarms of wasps in your yard.

Cold winter months won’t always kill off fleas completely. Your home is typically warm enough for fleas to survive or, at least, for the eggs to lay dormant, ready to hatch when warmer weather arrives. Plus, waiting for the winter isn’t a good idea. The infestation will continue to grow, and fleas carry pathogens that can harm humans and pets.
