Within an hour Tom had contacted me and gathered all the general information. The other two companies never responded at all. The next day Wes showed up and inspected our roof and ceilings. He took photographs and covered everything with me. The next day Tom sent me some of the photos saying it looked like a great opportunity for homeowners insurance to cover some of the damage. I had not even considered that. Tom walked me through the insurance claim and also dealing with the insurance company which was not always easy. In the end insurance covered practically everything. "We like to take a couple of minutes to describe the excellent experience with David at APR Roofing. First of all every other company we received quotes from wanted to tear off our roof, which would have raised the project price by almost 200%. David analyzed our situation and told us that since we only had one layer of old roof that was covered by a few thousand pounds of gravel, he would be able to reroof over the existing roof. He first removed and hauled away all that gravel and installed a beautiful torch applied roof over the existing roof. He even added some extra work at no extra charge. He answered all our questions, his crew was great and they cleaned up at the end of the job. As a general contractor myself, I couldnâ t have asked for better experience. I highly recommend APR Roofing."

"Lakeview Roofing did a great job, I highly recommend. My 4 flat building got 5-6 different quotes to repair our spotty leaky roof, the quotes ranged from complete tear outs with a new roof ($26-36k) to ... cut/patch work in soft spots w/ new pipe flashing and limestones resealed ($2.5k). Lakeview Roofing (Mario) provided a re-roof option where 3-4 weak spots were cut/repaired, removed the limestone caps and then installed a new rubber membrane over the entire roof wrapping under limestones on parapet wall (installed 2nd extra leak proof membrane under masonry/limestones), painted with an aluminum coating (priced in the middle of all quotes). He added 3 roof vents, replaced all flashings, and used liquid silicone, sealant, caulk where appropriate. Mario even added additional language to the quote to appease our Condo Board with regards to the Included 10yr warranty, weâ re installing a roof deck next spring so a warranty is critical. It sounded like Mario under quoted our roof because the limestones took more work than expected. However, the job was still done very thoroughly even though it took about an extra 1.5-2 days. I checked on the project about 3 times a day and I was glad to see high quality material was used, much better material/craftsmanship than our old roof."
