Service rep asked for keys and pulled the car in right away for repair. I waited in the lobby, which is comfortable. They have a coffee machine but I had brought my own. I had also brought my own reading material as I knew it would be at least 30 to 40 minutes. It was 40 minutes when he came back with my keys and had finished the repair. He went over the warranty information with me a little(the rep I talked with on the phone had told me about the warranty in more detail) and put the receipt in the warranty packet. I received a discount due to being a State Farm insurance holder. He washed the car once finished with the work. They would have vacuumed but I had just done that earlier in the day, so it didn't need it. Upon arriving to my car, I looked for area of repair and it took me a minute to find it. The ding was in the middle of the windshield, so even before it was repaired, you really had to look for it. It now looks like a small drop of super glue but I doubt anyone would even notice unless they are looking really hard for it on purpose. They did a great job! Fast, efficient, and affordable.

We had another plumbing company come out recently because we thought it was leaking again. They did the same exact thing but only charged $70.00. Another issue we had is that we had called Jim out a few weeks before for the same problem and he said he thought the problem was the tank on the back and changed some hardware in the tank and charged $200+ for that. Then we noticed it leaking a week later and that is when we called him out again and charged us $400.00 to reset toilet. While here we asked him how much he'd charge to replace our sink disposal and he quoted my wife a price of $450.00!! We have since asked the other plumber for an estimate and they quoted us a price of $250.00. Overall I'm confident that he is a good plumber but WAAAAAY overpriced.

He showed us some sample stamp designs and color choices. We picked what we wanted and he gave us an estimate. They came back, dug out and framed the new sidewalk. The concrete was delivered and poured. It was leveled and then stamped. Then a few days later it was cut and sealed. We loved it. That was in May. In August I noticed a crack all the way across the sidewalk, plus some minor cracks throughout. I called Jim and he came out to look at it. At first he said that was just the nature of concrete - it cracks. I pointed out to him a section of new concrete in our driveway that was about 2 years old and still looked like the day it was poured - perfect. Then he said that the sidewalk was cut in the wrong direction and that was why it cracked. He said he would come out in a couple of weeks and patch the crack that ran all the way across the sidewalk. About a month after he came out, now remember he said he'd be back to repair the crack in about 2 weeks - the sealer started coming off. So now we have a cracked sidewalk with light colored blotches on it. It's now December and we haven't heard from him since August. Nope, don't think we'll be calling him for any more concrete work. Oh, by the way, he was recommend to me by Michel Concrete Inc. in Springfield, IL. I had called Michel Concrete from their reviews here on Angie's List. They were booked up so they referred me to Jim Stark. I felt that I was uninformed in the process of my car repair. However, the problem was fixed and my car ran smoothly until it was inevitably sold. I would suggest that they take the time to help the customer understand the process and compare prices, especially when replacing the entire engine.

After paying my deposit for the work and waiting a few weeks, I finally had to call the company and see when someone was going to perform the work. I was told someone would be here on a Monday, on Friday when the crew finally showed up, they did not have the equipment needed to perform the work and cited that their paperwork was showing something different than what my roof looked like. The workers then tried to get me to rent a dumpster so they could remove the gravel on my roof(which they claimed to not know about). When I refused the workers left and claimed someone would be back at my building prior to noon on Monday, I waited until Friday before I called the company and that is when the run around started. There was no one there that could help me. I was finally able to speak to a supervisor (Nick) who stated he would have the salesman call me on Monday. I had to call back on Monday spoke with Nick again who stated someone would call me back within the hour, waited 2 hours then called again and spoke to Nick again who then informed me that the new price for my roof would be $8,100 dollars which was about $3,300 more than the original price, when I asked him why he wasn't standing by his original bid, he evaded the question, finally he stated we do not need your business and that a refund check for my deposit would be sent out. So I have no roof and the company did not stand by the signed contract that I have with them. Nick then hung up on me. I called back and asked for a supervisor and was given Nick again, so the guy I had been talking to the whole time who acted like he could not answer my questions is the boss and just jerked me around for over a week before finally hanging up on me and not providing the services they agreed to provide."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/in/hartford-city/five-star-commercial-roofing-inc-reviews-2295802.htm"},"position":9}]}
This company is fantastic. Very prompt. Repair man was extremely nice and explained everything he was doing. I would highly recommend this company and will be doing business with them again. Thank you so much.
Curt was great with the home inspection process. He made sure to explain things to me that needed repair by sellers vs things that weren’t a huge deal. He was always very responsive with any questions/concerns I had!

The average cost of a gravel driveway is about $1.25 to $2 per square foot, including the cost of materials, equipment, and professional installation. For example, a 16-by-30-foot driveway costs about $1,500. Cost factors include the type of gravel, how thick the gravel is installed, the condition of the landscape, and labor costs. Overall costs will vary depending on where you live and how accessible the job site is.
Concrete can crack from general wear, improper installation, or in response to uneven support from the soil underneath. Small, thin cracks on the surface of aging concrete are usually a result of normal wear and tear, while cracks on new concrete more likely indicate a problem with installation. Larger cracks or uneven steps can signify a much more severe issue. A concrete contractor should be able to diagnose the cause and repair concrete cracks for you.
The cost to install a concrete driveway is $4 to $15 per square foot on average. Your price heavily depends on your desired concrete finish and driveway size.
For a driveway that is 200 square feet, you can expect to pay an average cost of $1,900. For a driveway at double that size (400 square feet), the average price is closer to $3,800. Plain concrete is significantly more cost-effective, averaging $7 per square foot, whereas stained concrete averages around $19 per square foot.
The cost of resurfacing concrete is $6 per square foot on average, though that cost can range from $3 to $9 per square foot.
For a driveway that is 200 square feet, you can expect to pay $600 to $1,800, and for a driveway that is 500 square feet, that cost averages $1,500 to $4,500. Resurfacing your driveway will give you the look and feel of a new surface without the hefty cost.
A gravel driveway should be at least 4 to 6 inches deep, depending on the soil it’s installed on. Softer soil that doesn’t drain well should have a deeper gravel driveway. Deeper gravel will mean you spend more on materials and labor, but you’ll get a more stable driveway and avoid damage that needs to be filled or graded flat again.
