"I had a bad computer board in my oven. they said they would not cover it because they found a roach. This is Florida we have some roaches. i do not have a bug problem. It has nothing to do with a bad computer board. This company looks for a way to deny claims. i had one other claim and they tried to deny it as well. Save yourself some agravation and stay away. They must post their own positive reviews. They took my $65.00 fee and did nothing"

In some cases, you may be able to skip the primer and paint over old paint. If you’re painting over paint that’s in good condition and is a similar color and finish to the new paint, you probably don’t need to use primer. If the old paint is dark or uneven or the wall has stains or damage, you’ll want to apply primer before a new coat of paint.

The general rule when painting a home on your own is one day per room. It can take longer based on room size, drying times for a particular paint, and the number of coats used. If you hire a professional, the team of painters will usually work more quickly. With a professional doing the job, you’re looking at one to three days for the entire home, depending on the number of coats you need and the size of the team.

You can test to see if your mist coat has worked by using masking tape after the drying period. Apply masking tape to an inconspicuous area of the wall after the mist coat has had at least 24 hours to dry. Then, peel off the tape. It should come up clear, with no paint residue. If it does have paint residue, you may need to remove the mist coat and try coating the plaster again with a different ratio of paint and water.
