"We worked with JD from Green City Gardens to design and plant new landscaping in the front of our house. This included removing the existing shrubs, adding organic materials and planting the new flowers and bushes. In addition, JD, Doug, Carl and John removed two existing trees which had died and replaced them with new trees. The project was projected to be completed in about 2.5 days and the team achieved the target. The entire crew was excellent to work with--each provided their input and recommendations regarding plant placement. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process--from initial design through planting. JD's design was excellent and the new landscaping greatly enhanced the front of our house. Doug, John, JD and Carl worked diligently to remove the existing landscaping and planting and mulching the new plants. Based on our experience, we highly recommend Green City Gardens---they were reasonably priced and easy to work with when making significant enhancements to our landscaping."

Afterward they resealed the whole patio and it looks almost new again. They were not cheap, but I'm a firm believer in "you get what you pay for" and I feel they did an awesome job for a fair price. "These guys are really hard workers! It doesn't get any better than this. We could not believe how they would show up promptly every single morning at 8am and sometimes work until the evening to get the job done. If the city of Chicago hired them to fix the streets as fast as they re-did our walkway and patio, the streets wouldn't be torn up for months on end. Eddie Castillo is the owner and started the company in 2007. He's a really good guy. Our neighbors were envious of the framing job this team did on the walkway. Eddie and crew also do restoration work and masonry as well as concrete."

"Pat and Midwest Landscaping did a great job on my yard. The plants had literally taken over and we had some poison ivy growing between our fence and the neighbor’s. In one morning they trimmed things that had gotten too big, moved plants to space them out better, weeded and got rid of the poison ivy problem. Really the best part was that they used all of our own plants, so we didn’t have to buy anything new. Whenever we need more help with the landscaping, we will be calling Pat."

"We wanted to remodel our detached garage and replace the concrete floor, which was built in 1925. We ran into a huge issue with the old concrete floor and Kevin suggested I call another company to help out, as the garage was not on a foundation but just dirt! The company he recommended, fixed the issue by breaking out the floor in sections and then re-poured a new floor. Bald Eagle was then able to complete the remodel and we couldn't be happier. Kevin was great to work with and stayed patient with my multiple changes which required new quotes. Price was reasonable and not as high as some of the other siding companies I called. I chose them being they are a smaller local company, their reviews and prefer to support local family owned businesses. I tend to over research sometimes, but I was glad I did! I don't know if another company would have given up when they found the issues with the foundation and then we would have needed to build a new garage, which would have been 3 times the cost. Communication was great and we couldn’t be more satisfied."
