"When we talked about the job Gordie outlined exactly what he thought needed to be done on a ceiling repair. The plaster had gotten wet and fel to the floor. Based on his outline of how he was going to cut the hole all the way to the wall, fully insulate the celing, and make the repair... we went with him. His written estimate did not include all of the detail that he had talked about - but I shrugged it off. My mistake, right there. The repair was good, but no insulation and the hole was not cut back to the wall. He said he stuffed the old insulation back - that is what was thrown in the trash because it was too wet. Get it in writing."
