"I was very impressed with Precision Painting.  Jason was able to schedule an estimate during non-business hours (7 PM) so that I didn't need to take time off work.  Jason and his crew showed up promptly at 8 AM every day (never more than 5 mins late).  We had some plumbing issues while Jason was painting (leak requiring portion of ceiling drywall to be removed).  Jason assessed the problem and fixed (patch/paint the ceiling) at minimal cost.  I found Jason to be extremely trustworthy to the point that we felt comfortable giving Jason a key to our house (which we never do for contractors).  Paint job looks amazing with no paint spilled on carpet, furniture, etc.  Highly recommend."

"We hired MasterCat because I have been having more and more problems with allergies, and a mold inspection found two kinds of mold that I'm allergic to. We also have five pets, I build furniture, and we have been remodeling our house, so I knew that the house was full of dust, dirt, and pet hair in addition to the mold.
Donny came out and checked out the house, using my mold inspection as a starting point. While in the basement he saw a spot on the ceiling that he thought might be mold and took an additional sample to make sure he knew about all of our issues. Then he gave me a proposal for cleaning the house, which included removing the mold, cleaning the ducts, resealing the grout in our shower, and cleaning all of the surfaces in the house where mold might grow. I was a bit skeptical when he told me that this would include all of my tools and the wood in my shop, but I shouldn't have been. They did an amazing job! The house is so clean that, if I didn't know better, I would think they threw out everything and bought new things to replace the old. They followed up with advice on how to keep mold out of our showers.
The remediation took three days, and I had to board our pets and a hotel for my husband and me, which took a lot of coordination, so I was worried when I found out that their crew's truck had broken down on the way to our house the first day. I assumed that they were going to have to reschedule, which would have cost me a lot of money. But instead they pulled a crew away from another job and they started the same morning. When that crew started, they realized that it was going to be a bigger job than they estimated, so they brought in additional people to help out and finished on schedule.
All in all, an excellent job from real professionals, and I'm very glad I chose them to do this work.

"I would do this again, and the electrician was very hard working.  He did all that I wanted.  The only issue was he made a ceiling fan way too low and I had to have my father shorten the pole for me.  The electrician should have done that himself.
But overall I was happy!

"Our roof started leaking from extreme weather conditions here in Chicago. We had ice then snow with freezing temperatures and then it completely warmed up to 60 degrees. The roof and gutters could not handle the quick melting and we had water come in through light fixtures, exhaust fans, speakers and eventually dry wall. The water came in through the top level and soaked the carpets and then eventually came to the main level where it "rained" in our dining room and living room for about 20 hours. We called Structure Dry and they were VERY professional and able to come to our home within 3-4 hours. They immediately pulled 30 gallons of water out of our carpets and set up dehumidifiers and fans to finish drying out the floors, walls and ceilings. They recommended leaving the equipment going for 3 days during which time we re-located to a hotel. The owner of Structure Dry came with his team to do the initial clean-up and also to pick up the equipment and inspect the final result. He was so kind and so assuring that everything would be okay. He has been in the water business for over 20 years and you could tell he knew what he was talking about. We felt that our home was in very good hands. Meanwhile, his wife - the other owner - called us every day to check in and give us a status update. She handled all of the paperwork and took care of direct billing with our insurance company. She also put us at ease and assured us that everything would get back to normal. We learned from Structure Dry throughout this whole ordeal that the most important thing you do is get everything dry. Once everything is dry, the damage stops and no mold can grow. After it is dry, you can start getting contractors and insurance adjusters in to assess the damage and start the repair. Getting Structure Dry in immediately was the best move we made and we are so thrilled that we ended up with such a competent team doing the work for us. We can't say enough good things about Structure Dry. We hope that no one else ever ends up in our shoes with a leaky roof but if it happens, this is the right company to call."

"Great experience overall. Originally hired this firm just to refinish a bathtub although I had many other repairs to do. While assessing the bathtub job, Matt offered, for a very fair price, to replace the tub faucets and new vanity that I had purchased . He also found where water had gotten into the wall behind the tub faucet and made the wall soggy. He was able to remove the tile, repair the wall, and replace the tile, without additional charge. After beautifully finishing the bathroom, I asked Matt to quote on removing a kitchen cabinet and repairing and painting the drywall around it. He did a fabulous job, again for a great price. Then I asked him to paint the garage door and porch ceiling. All the work has been done well. I use this firm repeatedly because of the work quality and price."

"Orlando and his team were very professional and performed the work carefully but quickly.  They covered all areas thoroughly, requiring  us to do nothing with regard to moving furniture or breakables.  The walls look great, and the ceiling looks phenomenal!  They fixed all of my "do-it-yourself" edging mistakes.  I will definitely use them again.

"Walls and ceiling were completed correctly. However the basement stairway trim had many nicks and gouges. We had asked that this damage to the trim be repaired and then painted. The painter always said yes he understood but on more than a few occasions we pointed out nicks he had not spackled. The completed job was extremely disappointing as many of the nicks were still very visible. Also the tarp that was used was either paint soaked or allowed paint to be absorbed into the stairway carpet. I was so upset by the poor job that I just wanted the painter gone."

"Cesar did an amazing job!!!!  Not only was he at our scheduled estimate at exactly 1:30 pm (the time we agreed upon), but he arrived at the job at 8 am, not one second late and ready to work .  He painted my living room, back entryway, hallway, 2 closet doors, my front door, the trim in my living room, hall way and back entry way, installed dry wall in my bedroom ceiling and painted my ceiling.  I have had several people comment on how amazing it looks and one of my friends even asked for his number.  Cesar is the only guy I will have paint my home.  He is professional & just an all around nice guy.  Use Montessori Painting you won't regret it!!!

"We have just had AOM complete work on our home. If you are on the fence about using this company, I hope this review helps. The interior of our home had not been painted since it was built (about 2003). It still had the flat contractors paint and some areas were looking decidedly worse for wear.Being pregnant with a toddler on the loose, we decided not to attempt the painting ourselves. I commenced obtaining quotes. Generall,y when having work of any kind done on our home or appliances, I prefer to go with a company that has been recommended to us by friends or family we trust. So we had a number of companies from around the local area come to give us quotes. However, I spotted AOM on Angie's List and was intrigued by their offers and more importantly, the reviews people gave them.I decided to call them for a quote. Well, they were super fast in getting back to me and David offered to come out the next day to provide a quote. After a walk through and explanation of what we needed, he was able to quote me on the spot.We had a relatively tight schedule to get the painting done. We decided to have it done whilst we were away overseas. Certain past experiences have left me largely mistrustful of giving my home over to anyone while I am away, but after chatting with David and Ashly, the owners of AOM, I felt confident that we were in good hands. We were leaving in less than a month and needed the work done by the time we got back. No pressure. Ashly and David were fantastic in fitting on with our schedule requests. Ashly was so great in helping us to decide on exact colors to match our general idea of a color scheme, coming over more than once to put up paint swatches in the different rooms in different areas so we would be able to tell how it would look regardless of time of day. I can't tell you how many color samples we tried before we made our final choices. My mother in law was gracious enough to offer to be on hand to help out with daily concerns, and the AOm team worked so well with her. She was completely impressed - not an easy feat with her! Before we left we had constant communication with Ashly, who even helped me choose paint scents.While we were away, we got regular updates, with pictures from AOm as well as an online work board so I would be completely in the loop with the work done/to be done. We returned the day before yesterday and LOVE the work they have done. We are so incredibly happy and impressed with the work they did. They did all our ceilings,our walls, fixed cracks and dents where needed,painted the walls and to my absolute delight, managed to get my dinged baseboards and door frames looking like new again.They also took care of the smaller details, like kindly replacing globes they saw had blown out. Today, David came by for a walk through to ensure we were happy with everything. There were a few minor things that he fixed right there on the spot. Needless to say, all their fantastic reviews are well deserved.They work hard, work smart, have integrity, and are so very accommodating to their customer's needs. That they are also trustworthy is a huge thing for me , and I suspect that anyone having work done in their home, whilst they might not be about at all times, will understand this. Give them a call - you will not be sorry. Oh, and their quote? A fraction of the cost we were quoted by the others. We intend on using them for all projects in the future."
