"I had a really bad shower and toilet clog so I decided to contact flo-maxx and they sent 2 professionals, Garret and Raymond to do the job but I wasn’t sure if they would be able to clear the drain, they definitely cleared it super quick and also cleaned my floor afterwards. "After the big spring rains, water began seeping into my basement at several locations. I could see tree roots encroaching on the sump pump and assumed that drain tile was clogged resulting in water pressure strong enough to seep through the joint between the foundation wall and the floor. Tim explained that tree roots should be killed off with copper sulfate and that seepage was likely the result of cracks in the foundation wall that are covered up by the drywall. He said a single leak can appear in multiple locations as it travels along the 2x4's anchored to the floor. We talked about how I could go about finding cracks. He showed me the machine he would use if I decided to have him clear out the drains and warned that the silt and debris may tear up my sump pump. His focus was on helping me understand what my options are, not selling me a service I may not need and for that I'm grateful. I will definitely call him back when the time comes."

Secondly, I had mentioned to them that I will be doing a kitchen remodel project in the near future and that I will need to have the drain relocated. What they did was stage the area in prepapration for that project, so that there will be minimal work for when I start that project and have the sink in the new location. He suggested placing a tray under the tank that has a drain hose just in case the new tank eventually leaks then it won’t run all over my basement.
