"I put off getting an irrigation system for years because it was all very confusing to me and I didn’t want to make a mistake with choosing a shoddy irrigation system. Kaitlyn quickly made things easy to understand and presented me with a state of the art watering system. Kaitlyn and her team were everything that I wanted and more! Her expertise in landscaping and irrigation is superior and that is why I chose Auto Rain. Their customer service after the irrigation was installed has continued to be excellent and I feel confident that I have partnered up with a great company to continue in the maintenance of our irrigation system for years to come!"

"Water Works did an outstanding job installing a drip irrigation system for us. From the time Lucio first arrived and surveyed the project until the crew completed the installation, everything was flawless. The work was done in a timely manner and everyone was courteous and professional. Many neighbors suggested I call them and I'm glad I did! I confidently recommend them to anyone looking for help with their lawns and gardens."

"It went great. Irrigation RX came out in a timely manner , tested for the problem and promptly fixed it.
I was fortunate to find Irrigation RX about 9 years ago. I have never worked with a better servicer in any industry. Mark who is the owner of the company is truly one of the best business people I have ever met. First and foremost, Mark brings integrity to everything he does. He also holds his entire staff to the same standard. Irrigation RX also does a quality job no matter how big or how small the project. Irrigation RX, is always punctual, professional , provides excellent service at fair pricing. I would trust Irrigation RX with all of my family and friends."

"Alan's Landscaping did a great job! They removed the front flower bed and trees. They installed a new bricks to define a new flower bed, added top soil and mulch, planted new shrubs. They also moved some struggling shrubs (between the drive and the sidewalk) to a better location and planted new shrubs. The team that came to work was fast and professional. All of the work was completed in one day. They kept me informed of the progress and checked in with me a few times during the day to make sure that their work was in line with my expectations...which they exceeded. I feel like they went above and beyond what I asked. They had some extra mulch and they added it around the base of my front tree and to the side of my garage by the property line that just had some weeds growing in it. When I have money to do landscaping in my backyard, I'm definitely calling Alans Landscaping!"

"I use them for pest control and lawn. They're excellent. I haven't had a spider or ladybugs or any mice in the garage at all since they've been doing my pest control. The lawn care is $49 a time and the pest control is $79 four times a season for pest control.  I've been using them for years."

Lawn Irrigation questions, answered by experts

Both zoysia grass and bermuda grass are somewhat similar to St. Augustine because they’re all warm-season grasses. Beyond that, most grass types have unique properties that set them apart. Zoysia grass costs twice the price of St. Augustine grass on average and it has thinner blades and a deeper green appearance. Bermuda grass, compared to St. Augustine, has much thinner blades, is softer to the touch, and has a higher tolerance for colder weather.

The best hardiness zones for St. Augustine grass are USDA growing zones 8, 9, and 10. However, with a bit of extra attention, it'll also grow well in zones 7, 11, and 12.

DIY solutions often lack precise formulation and distribution, potentially leading to lawn damage. Professional treatments optimize results with targeted applications.

Properly preparing the soil for planting grass seed may include applying fertilizer several weeks before spreading the seed if you plan to overseed the lawn. However, in most cases involving a brand-new lawn, spreading a starter fertilizer along with the grass seed will give it the best chance of taking root quickly and growing strong.

Although these terms sound similar and are sometimes used interchangeably, overseeding and reseeding your lawn are very different processes. Overseeding, the simpler of the two, involves a few steps to restore thinned or patchy grass by raking, aerating, and seeding uneven areas of turf to promote regrowth.

Reseeding a lawn is a more drastic and involved process, often necessary if the lawn is diseased, more than a third dead, or very overgrown with weeds. Unlike overseeding, it requires removing most of the existing lawn and starting a new one from scratch, a much bigger and more time-consuming job.
