Hometown Sprinkler Repair

I have had some good and bad experiences in my lifetime. This one takes the cake as the #1 worst experience in my life! No just the work but horrible communication! 1. ONE mobile phone that 4 people had access to at any one time and no reasonable response time from any of them. 2. If/when the tech shows up he comes in his car with a shovel and bag and the last 2 times with his girlfriend waiting in his car as he worked for maybe an hour. 3. All services are "pay cash up front first", then go buy product, grossly mark up prices by calling a presumed "boss man" then disappearing for another week. 4. Leaving every single time with an incomplete job saying "need to run to the shop" which is a house and then never comes back until "maybe" if lucky the next week. Always saying he would be right back and POOF. 5.. Yes, I had a cable line break the hoses once and new sod laid that also broke some lines. Why? See pictures posted. His lines were not even buried but 2 inches and one not at all.

Completely terrible experience. Prepaid for a plan, then could not get ahold of to schedule service, then they showed up at the wrong house, rescheduled - they didn?t show, finally got them on site?repair work was ok, but made me pay via cash. When I was not comfortable the back office rep was not flexible. In the end decided to just leave the job half done so I didn?t have to deal with their horrible back office. Worst service I?ve ever had.

A rip off from the start. I don't want to go on a super long rant. A few times tech no showed or called off late. Ok, I get things happen. And I was charged quite a lot for the work they did But what really got me was leaving a job without finishing and pressuring me into agreeing to buy services and products on the spot because it was a "great deal" that the "big boss" gave the go ahead for. When I started calling BS on things, the tech got huffy with me saying that the gratis timers he put on two spigots were "$485 a pop." Well, I went on Menard's website and found the EXACT same ones for $29 "a pop." I'm glad others had a good experience. I found it sleazy.

I needed a new RPZ. Came out on a service call and found I needed 4 heads replaced. I mentioned how part of my lawn wasnâ t covered. A few days later they received the parts came back out and now I have a beautiful lawn that I get compliments on. I recommend them to all my neighbors and friends.

They came and winterized my system last year, did a great job of blowing out the pipes and shutting it down. I called them again last month to start up my system for summer, quick appointment scheduling and very flexible. Good notice when having to reschedule due to weather. Called last week due to a head needing to be adjusted and it was completed in the same week

Very professional service from start to finish

I had hired a different company to activate my sprinkler for the season and they didn't finish all the repairs. I contacted Hometown Sprinkler on a Wednesday and by the next day I had a fixed sprinkler system. my lawn is going to look great this year! highly recommend!

I recently moved and needed to have someone take a look at the sprinkler system. The office staff told me the cost of a service call and once the technician made it out they walked me through my system and showed me the repairs that it needed. they scheduled me for repairs quickly after and were very prompt and communicative on having to reschedule due to bad weather. they were able to give me very quick availability, came back and completed the repairs that were needed very timely and did great work.

So happy I contacted Hometown Sprinkler. I had 4 broken heads and a leakage. They offered me an affordable package that included 2 free head replacements. super affordable compared to other businesses I contacted.

The most horrifying display of anything resembling a company.. run like hell. They are unprofessional, untimely, and the work is horrible I have to call another company.

I would never use this company again nor would I recommend them to anyone. I engaged them in the Spring to open my Sprinkler System. They came out and offered this fantastic deal on the open and close of the system if I paid for it at start up. It sounded like a good deal and paid up front. When they came to close the same service rep who opened stated I need to pay 125 to close. I told him I had already paid for it. He proceeded to start closing the system. I reminded him of the quick connects. He started to argue with me, I went inside. The next thing he shut down the close and told me to call someone else. I told him I would pay if he finished. He said it was done so i paid. I hope the system works next year and is not damaged when the NEW company comes to open.

They came on time. Very professional, and did the work in a timely fashion.

Customer service was exemplary, office staff great and technician is very well versed in sprinkler system. Parts were costly but that is because I have special order parts! Three of my neighbors have used them as well. Thank you hometown sprinkler team my yard is looking great and the patch we never thought would grow has grown!!! Looking forward to next year working with you all

They came to winterize my sprinkler system, they walked through the system with me as they winterized it as well. The gentleman that came was even kind enough to repair a broken head for me, that he had encountered during the shutdown.

Hired this team to take a look at our sprinkler system after having just moved in. We didnt know the state of the system so needed a team to come out and take a look, which we told them about. First visit they came out and said we needed a certain part then itll be good to go, but it is an additional couple hundred dollars. then they never showed up to the appointment and were very late when rescheduled. Once the new part was installed they said now they needed me to pay another couple of hundred for another new part that they did not realize we needed. I voiced frustration for having to keep paying for additional parts when they said the previous part would fix it. They reassured me that this was the last part needed and everything will work after this. Again they were late for the next appointment, and after they installed the second part, they said we now needed to buy something new for another couple of hundred since the sprinkler system was not working. At this point I cancelled the service and I refuse to work with them further. I get that my sprinkler system needed work. I am upset with this service because they reassured me multiple times that just one more part is all I needed. If they did a thorough inspection from the beginning and told me everything that needed updating and the costs, I could have swallowed that. However they did not and just tried to dangle a carrot in front of me and keep me paying for, just one more part. I do not have the confidence in this service and cannot recommend them. Perhaps for simple winterizing, they can do the job, I am not sure.
