"We hired dirt brothers to remove our xeriscape from our front yard and they did a fabulous job! Within an hour of inquiring, I received a phone call from them to get a little more information about my project. The next day they came by and took a look at my yard. They asked if they could take 15 minutes to make a few calls and crunch some numbers and get me a quote on the spot. I was delighted to hear they could quote me so quickly! Within 15 minutes, they were back at my door telling me what my project would cost. The number was fair and reasonable for the amount of work I was requesting so I hired them! They left my front yard clean and removed all debris. What impressed me most about this team is that they were good on their word every step of the way: the project cost was what they initially quoted, the project began when they said it would, and they finished it in the timeframe they proposed. Regardless I will hire them again because they were prompt, efficient, thorough, professional, everything they fixed works well. "We had the bathroom remodeled. Robert Palma and Thomas Pedvin are amazing at their job. Our bathroom before they got there had a cracked tub and a leaking toilet. They removed the old bathroom completely and put in a whole new bathroom. They worked with other companies getting the products we wanted. Leaving us with an amazing bathroom for a very reasonable price."

While a toilet dripping on the outside can be caused by condensation, a toilet that is constantly dripping on the inside is usually caused by a deteriorated flapper. This is one of the most common types of toilet leaks. As the flapper degrades, it won’t seal properly, and water will constantly leak into the toilet.

You can tell if your toilet fill valve is full by removing the lid and taking a look. When you flush the toilet, the float is at the bottom of the tank, the water empties, and the fill valve opens. The float rises to the top as the tank fills again with water. When the float rises to the right level, the fill valve closes; if the valve is too high, your toilet may only partially flush, requiring you to adjust the float. 

Your toilet handle might not come back up if the nut is loose or the bolt threads are stripped. Try to tighten the mounting nut and wrap plumber’s tape around the handle bolt to fix stripped threads. It’s possible the handle was improperly installed. If that’s the case, you can use the instructions above to correct the handle’s position. 

The water in your toilet tank refills after each flush. So if you see dirty water in the bowl, you should check the tank to see if it’s coming from there. A dirty toilet tank can be the result of sediment in the water itself—-after all, the water will sit in the tank between flushes and can cause the interior to change into a dingy color. Faulty toilet components, like an old flapper, corroded tank lever or chain, or damaged seals, can also lead to dirty water as the materials break down inside the tank. You can clean the toilet tank or change out the old parts to give it a fresh start.

Sealant doesn’t need to be applied to the bolts, but it can be a good way to stop an active leak in the moment. However, don’t rely on it as a cure-all; instead, make sure to fix the problem at the source by changing or tightening the bolts. 

If you do use sealant, make sure to spread it thickly and evenly across the bolts and the tank's porcelain.
