"This company can improve by providing a longer warranty on their services, especially to areas that have variable climates. This company is based out of southern Oregon where the climate is temperate for 10 months out of the year. We are in central Oregon where the climate is temperate for about 5 months a year. The window of service is smaller in our area as we are experiencing extreme cold weather during months when All Natural Pest Elimination is calling to provide us with treatments. The ants are not present during these cold months so we have to wait for the weather to warm up and the Carpenter ant hatches to begin. Unfortunately, our warranty was up by the time the ants hatched and we are out 3500$ and still have a very serious ant problem. Tony Goin refused to remedy the situation, telling us "tough luck" but he'd be happy to take more of our money so they can probably not solve our ant problem....again. What a fraud. The service they provide one can do on their own buying product from Amazon and placing bait and gel in the appropriate areas. The treatment of drilling into our structure and spraying essential oils could have be done another time as the ants are in our walls, but Tony refused to provide that initial treatment more than once. Every other treatment consisted of technicians spreading bait around our house. Such a disappointment and serious waste of money."

Moles live underground and feed on insects. They dig and move through tunnels, usually in meadows or forests but sometimes in lawns and gardens. They are about 6 inches long with large claws, tiny eyes, and hidden ears. 

Shrews do not dig their own tunnels but will use other animals’ tunnels, and are about 3 to 4 inches long. They look similar to mice and feed on insects.

Voles are similar in size to moles but have large eyes and small but visible ears. Rather than eating insects, voles are herbivores that prefer seeds, grasses, and plant roots.

One of the most widespread chemicals used for killing termites is Fipronil. It’s one of the most common insecticides used by termite exterminators to kill termites fast. However, it’s toxic and generally used in outdoor areas only. Popular brand names of termite killers include Taurus, Bifen, Termidor, and BioAdvanced. All insecticides have pros and cons: Some are safer around humans but don’t last as long. Some may kill nearby plants or have power odors. Some are designed for safe indoor bait stations but take much longer to work.

To heat up a room to kill bed bugs, you’ll need to put either a portable heat chamber or hot dryer in the space. Larger heat chambers can be used to heat up furniture, while only professional heating systems can heat an entire home or structure at a high enough temperature to kill bed bugs. Keep in mind that this method is most effective when done by a bed bug professional with professional-grade equipment to eradicate the bed bugs without damaging your home.

When woodpeckers start banging on your walls or roof, they are probably looking for insects to eat, storing nuts for winter, drilling a hole to make a nest, or communicating with other birds to establish territory or find a mate.

The size of the hole can help determine the reason for the pecking. Small irregular holes are a result of insect hunts. Acorn holes are more consistently sized and often fitted with a nut in the middle. Nest holes are large and have rounded edges. If the bird is pecking to mark its territory or attract a mate, it may leave dents rather than holes, and the noise will stop when the mating season starts in spring.

The easiest way to determine whether you have rats or mice is to see the rodent. Mice are much smaller than any species of rats. It’s similar to comparing your thumb to your entire palm. As a result, rat nests are typically larger, too. But if you can’t see any pests or find their nests, telling them apart may be difficult without a professional inspection.

If you find droppings from the invading rodent, take a glance before you clean them up. Rat droppings are larger and rounder than mouse droppings (which are pointed).
