"We recently had insulation work done by commandos Insulation and the entire experience was excellent from start to finish. The team was professional, punctual, and very knowledgeable. They explained the process clearly, completed the job efficiently, and left everything clean afterward. Their attention to detail and customer service really stood out. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality insulation work at a fair price!"

"Very friendly and quick service. Installers were a little late because they got lost. Very satisfied and notice a difference having new insulation within a couple of days. Highly recommend."

"I hired Energy Allies to insulate the walls and attic of my garage shop and gym. They were only scheduled a couple of days out, and they completed the work in a single afternoon. They covered my tools and equipment with plastic to keep the dust off of it and did a great job of cleaning up when they were done. I especially like that they plugged the drywall holes after injecting insulation, so all I have to do is skim with drywall mud. I would definitely hire them again."

Drywall Insulation questions, answered by experts

The short answer is yes, a sagging plaster ceiling is dangerous. Sagging plaster on a wall is something you should fix immediately, but it isn’t a major concern. If the same type of sagging occurs on a ceiling, however, you could be in danger of your ceiling falling in large chunks. When plaster sags, it loses its strength and ability to hold itself up. The bonds that hold it together are strong, though, so if a sagging area falls, it will take large pieces down with it.

Regular dusting, occasional repainting, and avoiding harsh scrubbing preserve the finish.

Drywall texture refers to the techniques used on the surface of drywall to create a pleasing visual or tactile effect. Depending on your desired outcome, drywall texture can range from incredibly subtle to a focal point of a room. Textures play a significant role in interior design and are an excellent and relatively cost-effective way to change the feeling of a room.

It is more difficult to drywall a ceiling than it is to drywall a wall, but not so hard that DIYers can’t tackle it. One of the main issues with hanging drywall on your ceiling is getting it into place. Drywall isn’t light so, if you are hanging full drywall panels, you will need at least two (it’s better with more) people to hold the panel while you drill it into the ceiling as a single piece can weigh between 40 and 60 pounds and will need to be held in place for up to 10 minutes.

Mudding drywall is a DIY-friendly project, but patience and practice are required for perfection. If you’re working in a highly visible area and want the best possible finish, hiring a professional drywaller is worth the cost. Pros have the tools and know-how to ensure a smooth surface with fewer sanding sessions and less cleanup.
