  In February 2013 we hired Premier Construction to undertake an extensive building project which included an addition to our house that doubled the existing square footage, a remodel of the existing space, and the construction of a detached garage. Also included in the project were a rear deck, a front covered deck, and a patio just off the newly constructed walk-out. Our building project with Adam and Premier Construction was definitely a collaborative effort and the design options Adam presented to us always reflected our wishes and preferences. As the project advanced, there were change orders at our request which Adam took in stride with his characteristic can-do cheerfulness. Adam never sees a problem that can't be fixed or a challenge that can't be met and he possesses a great aesthetic sense as well as an impressive amount of knowledge and experience in the construction business. The end result, which we are now enjoying, is a seamlessly executed addition which has all the features we most desired. The quality of workmanship in the addition surpasses that of the original dwelling, a credit to Adam and the first-rate team of employees and sub-contractors associated with Premier Construction. We have no plans for further improvements...but...if we ever decide to build a party shed, we'll call Adamshow more

  They arrived when they said they would and got right to work. Only took them about 6 1/2 hours and that was only because there was a little issue with one of the windows - weird construction. Very professional crew and we're especially impressed with Brian, who really knows his stuff! The new windows actually help block summer heat. We love our new windows and door and will use Zen Windows againshow more

The ordering process was smooth and every aspect of the purchase was explained- our options, frame choices, financing. The installer is professional and wastes no time while on the job.   I do a lot of research before I purchase anything by going online researching the product, and of course reading Angies List reviews as well as talking to prior customers, friends and neighbors. I had several companies come to my house and give estimates. The only company and person who stood out to be professional and honest was Amanda at Windows America Sioux City. One thing I liked about Windows America is they actually give you a brochure of the window manufacturer which is Lindsey Windows and Doors in Mankato MN. Amanda also gave us information about the company that makes the glass for the windows and doors which is Cardinal Glass. If you?re looking for windows ask whoever is giving you their brochure who makes the windows and glass, you will probably get the same deer in the headlight stares I got. One of them actually told me he thought the factory was in Iowa but it was somewhere in the U.S. That should tell you something about the product they are trying tom sell you. As far as the installation of windows the installer was professional and worked late several times to get what he was working on done before he left. The windows are high quality and the screens are not flimsy they are very sturdy. The installer has been with the company for more than seven years, which also told me something about him and the company. No fly by night install crew and dedication and loyalty to the company which I am sure is mutual. I felt comfortable enough to leave the installer at my house alone all day for several days. As a federal law enforcement agent there?s not many times I do that. After one of the windows was installed I held the palm of my hand against the glass and did not feel any heat transfer. I did the same with one of the Pellas and I could not hold my palm on the glass because it was too hot. I actually cant wait for it to get really cold to see the savings on the heating bill this winter. We had five Pella windows and a Pella sliding glass door that were originally installed when our house was built in 2003. (Yes that?s right only ten years old) During the winter time we had to use an ice scraper to scrape the ice off the inside of the windows so we could see out. The draft coming from the windows and slider were making the curtains move. One of the windows couldn?t be opened because the frame would fall apart. They say Pella is viewed to be the best, in my opinion they are viewed to be the worst and I will never buy another Pella product again. If you have Pella casement windows you might know what I am talking about. After many hours of research about our windows that were viewed to be the best we found out we weren?t the only people having the same issues with Pella, in fact there is a class action lawsuit against Pella that was recently settled.   Windows America was excellent during the estimate process. They were upfront with options and the different costs associated. Installation was done professionally and promptly. I was very impressed with the follow up that was done even way after the installation. The owners are very easy to get ahold of and are very accommodating.
