Penagos Painting

I had an excellent experience with Penagos Painting and recommend the firm without qualification. I had a full-house electrical upgrade from knob and tube wiring which left 32+ 3” holes that required patching and painting. Marco is a complete professional that moves your furniture for the painting, takes pictures so it is returned correctly, and cleans thoroughly after the work.

This is an outstanding company. They delivered excellent quality on time and on budget. All team members were very professional throughout the project.

Marco, his son Michael, and nephew Ariel did a phenomenal remodel + reflooring of two bathrooms that had severe dry rot and very old plumbing fixtures along with reflooring the kitchen. The transformation of the bathrooms and kitchen, especially the flooring, molding, and trim were/are breathtaking. The property owner who is a retired contractor was impressed with how fast they did the job and the qualify of their work. Very hard-working family with good senses of humor, and who are also upfront and honest on prices. They are dog lovers, too, which our dog Bullet greatly appreciated.

This contractor started out telling me how he spends time on prepping, however after the second week I discovered 1) owner Marco would not sand my front door before painting, would not remove door plate until I insisted, he said h3 doesnâ  t do that 2) painted porch over unprepared surface, did not wash dirt off, confronted would not correct 3) after paying him, I later discovered area on the front of house he missed painting, and other areas that needed paint 4) never has this been corrected, 5) very disappointed and I would never recommend him, very difficult to work with,

Marco and his son are so nice and do high quality work. Will hire them again.

It is very helpful to have a detailed contract to make sure you get what you are promised. You can always amend the contracts and add your own understanding and expectations.
