"Brought Lock Johnson of Beholder Aquatics out to help advise, design and setup two 24” x 48” showers and a plant bog or “veggie filter” table to flow back into my 3800g pond. Lock was punctual, professional and extremely patient while walking me through the more practical elements of my requests & designs, while respectfully suggesting areas of improvement as we came across them. His knowledge on liner or cement pond builds, koi and goldfish health, hydroponics & pond plant care, as well as plumbing were an incredible resource. I’ll definitely be calling on Beholder Aquatics to service my filters and ponds & have already recommended them to some of my pond-owner friends ahead of spring!"

"Good morning, neighbors! I wanted to give a big shout-out to Drake Andrew Landscape Group. 🌿 We decided it was time to move on from pine straw and refresh our landscaping beds with Indian River Rock, and they did a fantastic job! The team was professional, communicated clearly, stayed flexible when I requested a directional change, and charged exactly as quoted. Highly recommend if anyone is considering a landscape update"

I've known Pete and Water for Life for 20 years; talked with his wife Nancy often at their Start-Up operation some 20 years ago.

Pete is 1 of the 2 Most Ethical contractors I've ever dealt with (the other one being Tommy Black, Master Plumber, whom Pete knows well and works with).

Best Health Investment you can make is Pure Water (and pure air).  The Best $2500 we spent.

Recently (March 2016) I thought I needed Pete to come check something, do some system maintenance.  Pete read a Very Long email from me, then talked with me Extensively by phone (he called at 2:30 in the afternoon, so we had time to talk!), Pete told me what I could do to try to solve the problem-- It had Nothing to do with his system.  He's just a Generously Helpful Man.

Pete, So Sorry that I didn't know that you were on Angies List, to write a Review when you installed the whole house system approx. 18 months ago.

Fountains questions, answered by experts

Small ponds can be drained and filled in about a day. Larger ponds will take two or three days for professional removal.

After you fill in your pool, you can add trees and plants that help stabilize the soil. You might decide not to fill it in at all and find another use for the sunken area instead. A few ideas include creating a seating area or garden inside the empty pool. Depending on its size, you could create a place to roller-skate or install basketball hoops for an unconventional court.

Lifespans vary by material and manufacturer, but pond liners last anywhere from 10 to 75 years. For example, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pond liners have a life expectancy of up to 20 years. Other types of pond liners, including those made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM), can last 40 to 50 years.

Installing an outdoor water fountain costs $2,700 on average, not including the cost of the unit. Prices range from $150 to $10,650, depending on your location, the type of fountain, size, and accessibility to the site. Self-contained fountains and water features recirculate the water within the unit. Depending on size and features like multi-tiered cascading bowls, they typically cost from $50 to $5,000. More elaborate fountains with waterfalls and ponds can cost from $450 to $10,000 or more.

You have several options for your pond by getting your yard ready for the winter. You can winterize your koi pond by ensuring it’s at least 5 feet deep so it doesn’t freeze completely, installing a pond heater or aerator and having it run at all times, and installing a deicer if temperatures are dangerously low for an extended period. You can also choose to shut down your pond for the winter by removing all the wildlife in it and bringing it indoors, cleaning out the filter and pump, and then covering the pond with a tarp.
