"Brian called when he was on the way, between the hours of the appointment. He was very professional and provided me instructions of present service and other services he could provide. It wasn't a hard sell, just information I was not previously aware of. In fact he gave me ideas on how to save money overall. My carpet is relatively new, so I didn't expect much difference, I was just getting them cleaned for houseguests. But, when Brian showed me the results I was amazed. I will definitely use them for all my carpet cleaning in the future.

"Lee (Dodley), the owner, came with several toolboxes of specialty devices and tools specifically built for carpet-stretching. He showed us why the carpet had a sizable 'hump' in the middle of the floor, moved furniture as needed to stretch carpeting in two rooms, and then expertly stretched the humps out of the carpet. He really knows his craft, was careful to prevent damage, and did the cleanup afterwards. He was fast, and charged a fair price. Carpet looks great now, and he guaranteed his work. A true professional start to finish!"

"The carpet was allowed to dry for 3 days and then vacuumed. We were left with rake streaks in the plush carpet that did not come out. We contacted Reggie Williams and he promptly came out and checked and tried to vacuum out the streaks with his vacuum. This did not correct the problem and he scheduled to come back on 6 October 2011 and to re-clean to get out the excess scotchgard that had bonded the fibres together. This has corrected 99% of the problem and the rest will gradually work out over time. Through out the service, Reggie Williams was pleasant, professional and cooperative. While we were not happy that the situation occured, we were impressed with his immediate response and effort to correct the situation to our satisfaction. We would use them again.

"It went very well. They are a local company have been in business for 12 to 15 years so I figured they were pretty reliable and I heard from others in the area they were a good company. I guess they were above average. I went over there and they sent a guy over there to take measurements and gave me a couple of estimates and helped selecting the styles of carpeting and hardwood floors. Once you make a decision is 50% up front and 50% upon completion. I was surprised they recommended a certain type of hardwood floor and I was trying to match the floor already there. When the installer showed up he said you don't need this type you need that and loaded his van and went back to the warehouse and got the proper type of wood. Which surprised me I thought the guy would know different types of wood."

Carpet Stretching questions, answered by experts

Decent carpet will last around 10 years on stairs. Some less durable carpets, like polyester, will only last five years on stairs. The ideal carpet, like wool or nylon, can last about 15 to 25 years. You’ll know when to replace it when it starts wearing down. You may have to replace it sooner if it's stained, whether due to water damage or pets.

Yes, carpeted stairs are generally considered safer than stairs with hard surfaces like wood, vinyl, or tile. Carpet provides more traction and friction, which helps reduce the chances of slips and falls. Additionally, if a fall does occur, carpet offers more cushioning, which can lessen the severity of an injury. While hard surfaces can look great, they are often more slippery. However, it's worth noting that some carpets, especially if they are new, dirty, or have a slick texture, can also pose a slipping hazard. To improve safety on any type of stair surface, you can add traction treads to increase grip.

While it may not always be ideal, you can fix a squeaky floorboard without removing the carpet. Pros use specialized carpet screws and drive them through the carpet into the subfloor, securing floorboards. They may also use nails instead of screws if they suspect the pile will get caught in the screw. While some types of carpet will hide the screws and nails, a low-pile carpet may not.

You may be able to use super glue in a pinch to fix your carpet, but expect the repair to last only a short time. Super glue isn't designed for carpet, so over time, it'll break down, and the carpet piece will move out of place. For the best results, go to the store and grab a bottle of carpet seam glue.

Vacuum regularly, clean spills promptly, and schedule professional deep cleaning annually.
