Ultimately, I deeply regret choosing to work with Floor Coverings International and Gene Black. My experience was one of meeting a charming salesman whose apparent helpfulness dissolved in difficulty, and who ultimately was not the expert in flooring that I believed I was paying for by choosing the more expensive and supposedly comprehensive service advertised by FCI. In addition, the installers, while all pleasant people, were clearly not knowledgeable in anything more than laying floors on a perfectly prepared service - hardly sufficient for a company replacing floors in existing houses. And their constant desire for me to manage the project was certainly something that I was not prepared for, and which ultimately cost me time, lost work, stress, sleep, and resulted in lingering damages to my home. There is a much longer version of this explanation that details all the missteps, repairs, damage, requests for corrections, etc, but the short version is that I wish I had hired anyone else, or even done the work myself.

Great customer service. The quality of the carpet, padding and vinyl floor was exceptional. There was a manufacturer back order on the vinyl flooring but the company handled the matter efficiently and kept me informed on the status. The workers were obviously very experienced and had a thorough knowledge of the products they installed. The finished product was beautiful. The price was great. I was impressed and I will definitely hire them again.

I just had my entire downstairs done and loved it so much that I had more done upstairs. Gene was great to work with. He came out and showed me lots of choices, pricing was very clear, the installation went very smoothly. The installation team cleaned up every night and were even very sensitive to the fact that one of my sons has autism. They went out of their way to make sure that everything was placed back where it should be as soon as they could. In fact, they correctly installed my dishwasher after laying the floor. I was so thankful for that because I had never been able to figure out why it wiggled so bad. Lol. My house went from meh to wow! Very impressed with this company and all itâ s staff. Very trustworthy.

Randy Young and his staff excelled from planning to installation of the flooring. The salesman spent 2 hours with us showing us samples of wood and carpet, answering questions, and finally giving an estimate on the spot. The installation was done in a timely manner by a highly qualified crew. There was followup after the job to make sure we were satisfied with the job. We love our new floors!

They kept in touch though out the process. Stayed on task and got the job completed. The floor looks fantastic. They moved all the furniture out of the two bedrooms that where the floors were done and back in afterwards. The floors were too light at first. We discussed this with them and it was corrected no problem. Very friendly and professional. I will definitely recommend them.

They did a great job. The installers were polite and efficient. They made sure that I was satisfied. The rooms look brand new with the new floors. It was such an amazing difference. They also fixed a couple spots in the hallway. Excellent customer service.

I have contracted with several flooring contractors over the years and FCI of Kennesaw was by far the best. Quality and prices were excellent and their customer service far surpassed my expectations with frequent communication before, during, and after installation to make sure I was satisfied. In fact I was delighted!

They never finished the job. The work was ok, but they never finished the job and I have had to call them several times, but cant get anyone back out. This company cant be trusted.

The sales reps and the installers were awesome and so very friendly-- I was amazed on how friendly the installers were since usually they really just do the work and thats it, not these guys-- they talk with you while they are working which made me feel very comfortable

The job is not done. They ordered the wrong tile. The second order is due to arrive this week. Then they need to schedule their installer sub.
