"Larry was very timely in his response and quick to send an estimate. He was very thorough in his explanation of what was necessary to fix my home. He also matched the color of my other pillars in the front of my home perfectly. A neighbor even came over at the end of the repair to get a estimate on some work for his home! Thanks, Larry!"

"Their services were awesome! Detail oriented, great suggestions, eye for design and discussions to keep costs down. They were willing to make changes and work with the timeline efficiently. The custom kitchen was high end and the finished work was the envy of all. Work space was left clean ."

"Highly recommend Jhony Ventura! We wanted a 4 x6 widow cut into a wall between a sunny TV room and a dark, windowless foyer. Jhony gave us just what we wanted. He had to move some electrical and we also wanted it framed. Jhony showed up on time, protected our furniture and any mess was cleaned up. We are so pleased with his work and work ethic. I’m sure we’ll use him again."

"I selected RL Ingram Construction after reviewing several quotes, and his was the most detailed and reasonably priced. Rodney, the owner, stated at the onset that I would be very happy with the outcome, and he was right! I could not be more pleased with the full and half bath remodel. He and his crew were professional, detail-oriented, and eagerly tackled any bump or glitch that arose with a complete remodel of an older bathroom. I will strongly recommend RL Construction to family, friends, and strangers looking to take on any home improvement project."

"I gotta tell ya, Roger is the man! He recently had his crew did some work on my back porch, installing screens, plexiglass, and a door, and boy, did he knock it out of the park! The screens weren't his, and neither was the door - he got 'em from a different company. But Roger and his men? They didn't bat an eye. They took those pieces and made 'em fit like they were made for my porch. Now, my porch has several imperfections, and the frames were not even. But that didn't stop Roger. He worked around all those bumps and chips, fitting in the screens and plexiglass like a pro. Not a gap in sight when he was done! And let's talk about communication. Roger kept me in the loop the whole time. No fancy jargon or anything, just straight talk about what he was doing and how he was doing it. Made the whole thing feel like a breeze. Now, I know what you're thinking - this must've cost a fortune, right? Wrong! Roger's prices were super reasonable. I mean, considering the top-notch job he did, I would've expected to pay a lot more. So, if you're looking for a contractor, give Roger a call. He's a straight-shooter, a hard worker, and he'll get the job done right without breaking the bank. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!"

Storm Shelters questions, answered by experts

Brick is the closest choice when seeking to capture the timeless look of stone with a more practical and budget-friendly option. When comparing stone versus brick siding, the price range of $200,000 to $400,000 for average brick home construction is dramatically lower compared to the cost of building a stone home. If you'd like to keep the stone aesthetic without the cost, stone veneer and manufactured stone are both less expensive than real stone.

Storage lockers are much smaller than storage units. A stocker locker is typically about 20 square feet, whereas storage units can stretch up to 200 square feet. Storage lockers are an affordable option for small-storing needs like decluttering or moving.

A simple A-frame chicken coop can take as little as three hours to build, but a more substantial all-in-one coop to house a large flock can take four or five days to build. Consult a local handyperson or custom coop builder for a time estimate based on the specific details of your project.

Sustainable materials and energy-efficient designs support greener construction options.

If a storm or other natural disaster occurs in your area, you may not have immediate access to help. According to the U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency, keep a disaster preparedness kit in your home with enough essentials to sustain your family for at least 72 hours. Put this in an easily accessible location to have it handy in case anything unthinkable happens.
