"After the initial assessment, which uncovered many problems including the fact that several of our valves could not be found, we paid Massey $1,214 in advance to find and replace all needed valves and rotors, adjust all 45 rotor heads, repair broken water lines, install a new rain sensor, trace all wiring to the various valves and repair wires where needed. As many as three technicians started, working together to locate wiring and valves and after two days had completed most of the work. The remaining valves proved difficult to find and would have remained hidden if not for the diligent work of one technician who kept coming back for about five more days over a two week span. Thanks to this technician, Danzell Williams, our system now works perfectly for the first time since we've been in this house."

"I spoke with a salesman named frank from the Ocala Fl branch. I was told I could pay monthly for the lawn service and would be billed the following week before they came out. the next day I was charged two separate charges equaling up to almost a thousand dollars. I canceled the account and asked for my money back and was told it would be refunded right away and how sorry they were..smh. That was on the 23rd of August and each time I call I get a different answer as to why my money has not been returned. First it was I would get it right away then it was 3 to 5 days then 5 to 7 days then 7 to 10 days and the last person I spoke with told me maybe I should get my lawyer involved because I was so upset and frustrated. This has affected me paying my mortgage and its like they dont even care also none of the reps could connect me with a supervisor or give me the number or information to the corporate office. Decoys can be more effective if you move them around frequently or purchase ones with motion features. Decoys that move in the wind are also more effective than stationary decoys.

Keeping your pool cover clean is a good way to keep smaller animals from running across it or using it as shelter. Small animals may use leaf debris on top of the cover to hide. Cleaning also removes nuts that may fall from a nearby tree that could otherwise be a tempting snack for some animals, like squirrels. 

When it comes to keeping birds from doing their business on your porch rails, you have several DIY options and home remedies you can try: 

  • Tie a fishing line from one end of the deck post to the other. Birds won’t be able to see the line across the railing, so they can’t land on it.  

  • Hang wind chimes close by, which may scare birds away. 

  • Apply a bird gel repellent to the railings, which contains smells that birds generally don’t like. Or, similarly, you can apply citronella or lemon oil around the railings, since birds don’t like strong smells.

It can be difficult to know what type of animal is in your attic until you see it. But several clues can help you narrow down the suspects:

  • Sounds: Smaller animals like rats and mice make scurrying and tapping/gnawing sounds. Larger animals like raccoons and opossums make louder clambering noises. Also, note when animals are noisy: Squirrels are active during the day, while rats are busiest at night.
