"When he took off the original porch the bare wood was exposed from the previous builder. He DID NOT seal it up when he built back the porch. I had to do that myself. He also used nails when I told him I needed it very safe for my husband that has a hard time getting around and is diabetic, which means when the wood starts to dry up the nails will be popping up and that is very dangerous so I will be going over all of that. He also left gaps and pine knot holes where I need to go back on and fix. He didn't pick up all pieces of wood. I had to go back and put it in his trailer. I also had to pick up his cigarette butts! I hate playing mommy to a grown up man!! When he finished, he loaded up his stuff and didn't even ring the door bell to let me know and check his work!! This was a good test to see where he was with his skill set. Well, if I was in better health I could have done it myself. I had the brains but didn't have the muscle. He had neither!! And because of my religion I cannot do business from Friday sunset to Sunday so I could not do any signing of contracts which he was extremely rude about!! I did tell the finance company and they understood and it was not a big deal to them for me to wait till Monday. He just didn't get it what so ever!! He did finish the job but , it was bad workmanship!"
