"The bedroom above my garage always seemed extra cold from the rest of the house. As such, I decided it needed to be insulated. This is a new home -built in 2016. However, home builders appear not to insulate garage space. I found USA Insulation by google search. They had great reviews. I called, and owner Ryan Zondervan came out to my home, gave me a quote and set the date for project. His crew, Laramie and other, came out on time and informed of how they were going to do the job and showed me the insulation- very good quality. The crew was very friendly and professional. The bedroom now keeps the heat in the room better. I am so glad I found USA insulation. They are top notch and I highly recommend them."

"They installed my new units with no problems. The owner came out to supervise the install which I appreciated as he had been the one I had dealt with to arrange everything. He pointed out that I had very little insulation in the attic and gave me a quote on the spot. He was very thorough in explaining things and answering all my questions. The owner and another employee came out a couple days later to put in the insulation. A couple weeks later I woke up to a very cold house. I contacted the owner to find out what was wrong and let him know that the unit would only run for a couple minutes at a time before shutting off, even if it wasn't at the correct temp. They came back out right away, and diagnosed and fixed the problem at no additional charge.
I rated them as 'Good' on professionalism because of one employee who I thought was a bit rude, tacky and unprofessional. Other than him, the owner and the rest of the staff were very pleasant to deal with."

"I found Dave on Angie's list and had good reviews. To save time I decided to email them and included some pictures of the nests. They quickly responded with an estimate and proposed schedules. Since it is best to remove these at night when the hornets are less active, they stopped by at the scheduled time and took care of everything, including clean up.
Was able to do everything over email and with minimal time. Used them a second time (a year later 7/15) and had a positive experience as well.

"Josh from critter wranglers came out in a timely manner and knew how to address the issue immediately. Their was a raccoon family that got in through a hole near my gutter in the roof. He not only removed every critter but expertly patches the hole up like it was never there. Would highly recommend"

"Leonardo and his wife did an excellent job installing my shower door. They not only gave me a great price but were meticulous with their work. They also traveled way out to where I live in Rome. I am so thankful I went with this company and I would highly recommend them.

When choosing a professional insulation installer, consider asking these questions to determine the best fit.
Will you address air leaks in my house?
Can you provide an R-value (heat resistance) fact sheet?
What kind of insulation will work best for my home?
How do you handle signs of a water leak?
Are you licensed and insured?
Can you provide customer references?
The best type of insulation for your home depends on what you need, so the answer will depend on your specific situation. If you’re building a house, structural panels are easy to install during the building process in addition to being the most energy efficient type. If you live in a warm climate, reflective insulation may benefit you more as it costs less than other insulation types. And for standard attics, loose-fill, spray foam, or blown-in insulation work well.
If you plan to heat or cool your garage, you’ll need to insulate the garage ceiling. Insulating your garage ceiling will make your garage much more energy efficient and save on heating and cooling costs. Not only does insulation make your garage more energy efficient, it helps reduce noise and can extend the life of your garage roof. You can use fiberglass, cellulose, mineral wool, or spray foam insulation for this project.
In some cases, you may not have enough insulation to properly regulate your home’s temperature. Watch for a few signs your home needs more insulation, such as:
High heating and cooling bills
Uncomfortable room temperatures
Ice dams on the edge of your roof
Roof leaks
Cold floors and walls
Freezing pipes
Temperature fluctuations
Visibly low insulation
Noise problems
Pest problems
On average, insulating an attic costs about $2,500, ranging from $1,500 to $3,500, depending on the insulation type, amount, and your attic’s accessibility. Additional cost factors include sealing air leaks, removal or replacement of insulation, and inspections. Types of insulation include:
Blown-in: $1–$4 per square foot
Spray foam: $2–$5 per square foot
Batt: $2–$4 per square foot
Structural insulated panels: $4–$7 per square foot
Loose-fill: $2–$5 per square foot
Reflective: $0.50–$1.50 per square foot
