I had a great experience with REenergizeCO. They installed new insulation in the attic and crawlspace of my townhome. What a difference! The crew was efficient, helpful, and friendly, and the estimate was completely thorough. Dexter was wonderful to work with.

These guys did a bang-up job of air sealing and insulating my attic. 37% reduction in air leakage! Everybody was courteous, hardworking and professional throughout the process. The communication was great, and they honored their timeline and price with no fuss. They were very clean during the work and had great attention to detail. They were very responsive to my specific requests and questions and made the whole process very easy. I can't emphasize how important it is to go with a reputable company for insulation and ESPECIALLY air sealing work. It is work that is so tempting to cut corners on since most people will never crawl into the tiny spaces needed to inspect the work before the contractor blows insulation over the whole thing. BUT, you will pay for it for 30 years if the air sealing isn’t done right. I passed over some cut-rate companies to go with REenergize and I don't regret it for an instant. I work in commercial building energy efficiency, so I’m very dialed into the wide array of experiences and results you can get from an insulation upgrade. I got the measurable results I wanted from REenergize. Now I have a much warmer and more comfortable house, and I'm burning a lot less energy to heat it. Top notch work. I highly recommend this company for your home energy efficiency project.

All of the work was performed in a single days, despite the amount of insulation required being considerably greater that initially estimated. The house is much more comfortable and the HVAC system works less often for less time. They do great work, I would definitely hire them again.

The work was done on time and they worked well around our schedule. They pointed out some good additional issues like our bathroom fans not venting properly to the outside and adding pass-through vents to allow for better airflow upstairs. My only complaint is that there were some gaps around the edges in the pass through vents of the doors. But this was minor and the quality was overall very good especially for the price.

All was well EXCEPT for 2 big issues. #1.) They had one guy, "Scott", who REFUSED to use any stud finder while drilling the plethora of holes into my walls. Three times I told him, "could we please use my high grade stud finder before you drill?" But he absolutely refused, saying he "knew what he was doing." Well, as my photos show, obviously he didn't know what he was doing!! As he drilled MANY holes that either hit studs OR were in the same center space as another hole, so these holes were then worthless for the purposes of blowing insulation into BUT for which they then also left for me to patch up. #2.) When the owner, Casey, initially came over to my home to give me a quote, he acknowledged that even though I had paneling on my walls, their quote would still include all mudding & patching, (after having completed blowing the insulation in), so as to restore the walls back to their original texture. So that all that I would have to do would be to paint over them. SO NOT TRUE!! For my photos clearly depict exactly how they left my walls. After the team left, I immediately called the company to complain and their only response was, "Oh well, you have paneling and that was the best that the team could do with paneling." Huh? So why didn't Casey mention any problems when he gave me their quote? For in the quote, he even acknowledged that I had paneling. I paid $4596 for this job, so I expected quality work. They were at my house from 8am until 2pm, whereas they had initially told me they expected to be there until at least 5pm. So they still had at least 3 hours to finish this job correctly. Still, even after complaining twice, they gave me no compensation so as to be able to hire another contractor to mud, patch & texture properly. But fortunately, because I do a LOT of my own home repair work, so I was able to mud & repair myself. Regardless, this meant that I had to spend the next 2 weeks, of the little free time that I have, to mud, patch, texture & sand all of these holes (many of which were totally unnecessary simply because “Scott” had refused to use a stud finder). Totally unacceptable.

I needed to fix the insulation around my air conditioner in attic, this turned into a full inspection and re-insulation of the original shoddy job when the house was constructed. The crew sealed around all leaking areas and sprayed insulation on unsealed knee walls. They were quick, efficient, clean, and explained what they were doing. REenergizeCO did a good job of accommodating my schedule during the holiday week. Very satisfied with the job.

ReEnergize CO was fabulous to work with. David arrived on time to do the energy audit. He first walked through what he was going to do, and asked me questions about my concerns and why I wanted the audit. He completed the audit ahead of schedule, gave me some preliminary results, and then emailed me the final recommendations and writeup. Unfortunately, I couldn't afford to do all the recommended updates, but David, kindly talked with me on the phone, understood my concerns and sent a revised recommendation list based. The work was scheduled easily, and the crew arrived promptly on the installation day. They were polite and friendly, and took care to ensure my (indoor) cats were also accounted for when the crew were going in and out of the house. They kept the house neat in their work area and vacuumed when they were done. The work was done well ahead of schedule. The office got my rebate sent in the day after I sent back all the forms. I've been very pleased with the pleasantness, promptness, and professionalism that the folks at ReEnergize CO have displayed.

We had an energy audit done by a separate firm that flagged crawlspace insulation as a priority along with a high quote. REenergizeCO gave us a second bid on the work that was reasonable and kept with the best practices discussed with the audit firm. On the day of construction the crew was there promptly at 9am and got to work immediately. They laid down paper and plastic to protect the carpet and prevent dust from settling in our daughter's room with the crawlspace access. Everyone was very friendly and the work was done by early afternoon. They ran out of spray foam insulation due to some miscalculations but we set up a time for them to come back a few days later and the work was completed quickly. Everyone I dealt with at the company was straightforward and honest.

We can't speak highly enough of REenergizeCO. We got three quotes to insulate the attic in our 1963 ranch, which had only 2 inches of original insulation. REenergizeCO was punctual, responsive, answered every question we had via email or phone and did a great job. We got got quotes from three different companies. The first just provided a quote via email and didn't come out to look at our attic. The second was 15 minutes late to our appointment without calling, couldn't answer our questions about the Xcel Energy rebate process -- and then he said he would send us a quote, which took three days and two phone calls from us to actually get. REenergizeCO showed up on time, and their representatives were super helpful and informative and gave us our quote then and there. Although they were a bit more expensive than the other two companies, we asked if they could match the other quotes. They gave us a small discount, which brought the cost down almost the other quotes. Although the price was still *slightly* higher, I very much wanted REenergizeCO to do the work because I was so impressed with their customer service. I felt confident they would a) show up b) show up when they said they would and c) do the work properly. They did all of that. The crew arrived on time, they were polite and professional, and they treated the house nicely (they put down mats on the hardwood floors to walk on and cleaned up after they were done.) They did a blower door test and also guaranteed that we would get the $300 Xcel Energy rebate, either from Xcel or -- if we didn't pass the blower test -- the company would rebate the $300 itself. We were very pleased with their work and would hire them again.

It went really well. Around 6 very polite guys showed up on time and worked hard all day. The reading from the door blower test showed close to a 50% decrease in airflow in cubic feet per minute. A huge amount of insulation was blown into my attic after they did a thorough job insulating the parts where the walls came up into the attic and after they covered the skylight walls with a foam that should help decrease the drafts coming in from the skylights. I am very glad that we hired them.

Casey, Dexter, and everyone at REenergizeCO do a great job with communication. At every step of the process, they did a great job of explaining what they were doing and why, and if they ran into trouble, they came to me to explain the problem and propose an alternative. The work they did looks great, and they left my house at least as clean as they found it. I highly recommend REenergizeCO for any energy audit or insulation work in the Denver area.

We recently purchased an 18 year old home and the inspector recommended we have an insulation professional take a look at the insulation in the attic because it appeared thin.  I contacted three contractors listed on Angie's List and received a quote from all three.  I picked REenergizeCO, which was the middle price.  One of the other contractor's was nearly half the price of REenergizeCO, but I was not confident in his ability.  The other contractor was twice the price and I was confident in their ability; however, I was equally as confident in REenergizeCO.  Consequently, I went with REenergizeCO.

I hired REenergizeCO to conduct a home energy audit, which was scheduled and performed promptly.  The energy audit revealed that we have insulation concerns in the attic, as our home inspector suspected.  Upon completing the energy audit, REenergizeCO filed my Xcel Energy rebate form and I subsequently received the rebate.

I immediately scheduled to have REenergizeCO perform work to seal and properly insulate our attic.  They were prompt and they finished on schedule; they cleaned up, too.  I waited approximately six weeks before writing this review because I wanted to check on my energy bill.  While the weather was a bit warmer than the previous month, my energy bill was quit a bit lower than the previous two months.  I definitely attribute some of the lower costs to the insulation.  We are very happy with the work performed and the professionalism of the staff.

We would definitely recommend REenergizeCO to others and we will keep them in mind for our rental properties in the future.

From the start, I was impressed with this company.  I had another company give an estimate and the guy was arrogant and didn't even look at the attic before telling me what I needed to do for 1/2 again what ReEnergizeCo charged me.  Casey, one of the owners answered the phone when I called and scheduled an estimate right away.  Forrest was friendly and explained why they would do what they would.  He gave me a firm quote.  Throughout the process, I got quick answers to my questions, even on a Saturday.
The crew arrived exactly on time and were all friendly and professional.  Reuben answered all my questions and explained what they were doing.  The job proved more complicated than expected because my attic was so difficult, but they figured out how to make it work.  They had to patch the hole where the old whole house fan had been and install it in another place.  They did all the cheerfully and well.  The price remained firm.  I was very impressed with this company.

Very professional and helpful. Casey handled the original home energy audit. It took us several months to get around to having the attic sealed and insulated (new home, new jobs and all, we had a lot going on). He honored the original quote and is submitting our rebate for us.

Dexter and his team that sealed and insulated our attic were wonderful. Very polite and thorough, asked lots of questions and also answered mine. They left space above the soffit area as requested by our roofer even though we don't currently have soffits (we will with the roof replacement).

The pricing was a bit more than another company I found on Anglieslist but they were so busy they didn't return my calls. You get what you pay for...

Overall they did a great job and I would highly recommend them.

It went extremely well. They were very polite, kept thing clean so our dog wouldn't get any of the insulation.
They answered all my questions in a very easy way to understand. At the end of the day we did a walk through to make sure everything was put back the way it was and that everything was cleaned up inside and outside.
I would defiantly hire them again and refer them to anyone!

This was done on a rental property. They were very efficient and cleaned up after their work. They advised me on what work needed done. They were all around very well to work with. The Big Deal covered a certain amount of square feet (approximately 300 sq ft), but I had more (approximately 1000 sq ft) that needed insulation, so there were some extra costs.
