"Absolutely perfectly. We appreciated Superior's foresight and knowledgeable assistance in selection of the "perfect" pavers. Installation of the pavers was done extraordinarily well. Finishing and sealing was done painstakingly, and we received tips on maintenance."

"They did exceptional work installing paving stones for my patio and walkway. Extremely nice people. Polite professional, they show up on time, they always get back to you right away when you contact them. The work they did was exactly what I wanted and they charged a fair price. Customers say: Quality work

"I like many Floridians had damage from hurricane Irma. After much research I found Low Cost Concrete and contracted with them to do the work. Terrance and his team were/are skilled, professional, and friendly. I recommend them and I have. The job began in December for 2 days and final deck coating completed after my pool screen work was completed."

"Thomas and Like arrived on time and met with me to verify the scope of work. I showed them one additional item that I would like to be completed and they were able to do that. They met with me a couple of times during the project to show me what had been done and what limitations they were looking at based on the condition of the concrete. They completed the work and showed me what they had accomplished. I was extremely satisfied with their work. Great team and good representatives of LRE Ground Services/Foundation Repair."
The homeowner's driveway had endured years of wear and tear, resulting in discoloration and numerous cracks across the surface. Additionally, the concrete slabs had become uneven due to the soil settling beneath them.
Due to soil settlement and poorly placed control joints, the customer's driveway had significant cracking. You can see that some stains have formed, indicating that the concrete lacks sealant protection.
The homeowner knew that their home's addition had experienced settlement damage when vertical cracks appeared on the exterior walls.
The homeowner became alarmed when they noticed stair-step cracking patterns emerging from the window frame in the exterior wall of the home.
Upon noticing significant cracks developing in the walls, the homeowner became concerned about their foundation's condition.

Small jobs welcome

"Excellent stucco work by Knoe, the primary stucco worker. Got to job and stayed till complete. Must wait about 2weeks to apply Sherwin Williams Loxon primer/sealer after stucco application.. Returned in 2 weeks and job completed. Stucco work is very messy so critical that plastic covering over all brick and masonry areas. This needs to be re-evaluated every morning and reapplied as needed. This was their only shortcoming, but they did return and were able to remove the spots. One of the nicest companies Iâ ve worked with, from laborers to salesman and even ownership. Thoroughly happy with job and was happy to pay when completed! Neil F South Tampa, Fl"

Customers say: Quick response

"I hired Capstone Pavers a while back to install my pavers in my backyard. Now, I needed repairs that were no fault of Capstone but more natural issues and not keeping up with the maintenance. They came and gave a competitive and reasonable quote. Thank you, Capstone Pavers! My backyard looks brand new!"

"Chad at Doneright Pavers is excellent. Would recommend them highly. His estimate was right on and we made some improvements and additions along the way and he was very upfront and fair with additional costs. Helio and his crew did an outstanding job and left the job site as clean as when they started. Would recommend them highly and if I ever need to use them again I will not need to talk to any other contractors. They were that good"

Masonry questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can enlarge windows in a brick house. Your masonry contractor will need to cut away exterior brick to make space for the larger window, and you may also need to consult a structural engineer to make sure the window is properly supported inside the frame of the house.

Unless you’ve worked in the masonry industry before, it is in your best interest if you hire a pro for any masonry needs. Masonry-related jobs require a high skill level and can be extremely time-consuming. If anything goes wrong, a licensed and insured masonry contractor would be able to take care of the subsequent repairs, giving you additional peace of mind.

Yes, but used or reclaimed bricks can be more brittle, cracked, or uneven than new bricks, so they’re harder to cut cleanly by hand. For that reason, you should take extra care when scoring and striking, and expect a higher chance of breakage. If a brick feels especially fragile, score deeper before attempting to split it.

You can purchase from many brick manufacturers and distributors via their websites, where you can also get estimates based on the quantity you need. You’ll find bricks at your local home improvement stores as well, though they won’t have as much of a variety to choose from. As for antique bricks, secondary selling websites like eBay can be a great resource.

It is possible, albeit a lot slower, to break up a rock using water. You would do this by freezing and thawing the water. You could create some initial holes or cracks in the rock, then pour water into the cracks or holes and allow them to freeze (so it's best to do this in winter or in colder climates). Since water expands when it freezes, this puts pressure on the inside of the rock and causes it to crack. You could continue to pour more water in and let it freeze to continue to break up the rock.
