Customers say: True professional

"I used King of Klean to dry clean two sofas, I have mixed feelings about the experience. I paid $930 for the service, which feels quite steep given the results. Dave was friendly and professional. He arrived on time, and started the 50 minute cleaning process immediately. when it came to the cleanliness of the sofas, I was left somewhat disappointed. While they are cleaner than they were before, they didn’t meet my expectations for a high-end $930 cleaning service. I was hoping for a clean that would truly revitalize the fabric, but it felt more like spray and go. After the sofas dried they left a hard coating on the surface that turned to powder when trying to remove it. While I appreciated the quick service and professionalism, I can't shake the feeling that I paid a premium price for results that didn't quite justify the cost. If you're considering dry cleaning furniture you might want to weigh your options or look for additional reviews before making a decision."

"Very experienced and professional. Have used this company a few times and I am always happy with their work. They have cleaned and sealed my natural stone on my porch, terrace and pool deck. I have also used them to make some repairs on the stone floors/walls. And lastly I have used them to polish my marble kitchen countertops . Highly recommend them!!!"

Customers say: Quick response

"We needed grout repair in the kitchen and shower. The corner joints between the counter top/floor and walls had cracked. Steve did an excellent job. He came on time, communicated well, maintained the work area clean, and did an excellent job. Price was communicated in advance. The entire experience was satisfactory and would use Steve again in the future."

Floor Cleaning and Waxing questions, answered by experts

If you have waxed floors or floors with a penetrating stain or oil, you can shine them up with some more wax and a cloth or floor buffer. After cleaning the floor thoroughly, apply wax to the floor in small sections and use a clean, dry cloth or towel to buff it until it shines. You can also use an electric polisher, which is especially handy for large floors.

Regular sealing, proper drainage, and periodic inspections prevent premature wear and cracking.

Wood floors should be polished every two to four months to maintain a shine and to keep them protected from daily wear and tear. More frequent maintenance includes dry mopping the floors daily and cleaning spills immediately, using a spray mop and cleaner weekly to remove any built up dirt or grime, and sanding and refinishing the floors every three to five years.

There are many benefits to hiring a professional floor cleaner. First, these flooring pros know the right chemicals for your flooring type, which is essential for its longevity. Likewise, they have the proper deep-cleaning equipment, which is often more complex than a mop or broom. Not only that, but deep cleaning your floors can be a time-consuming process, and by hiring a professional, you can spend that time on other home improvement projects.

Most DIY floor cleaners don’t require rinsing, but you’ll want to make sure you don’t add too much dish soap or oil to the cleaner to avoid having to rinse it after cleaning. For non-wood floors, mix 8 parts warm water, 1 part vinegar, and 1 part baking soda with a few drops of dish soap. For wood floors, use olive oil in that same mixture instead of the vinegar. You can let these solutions air-dry after cleaning your floors with them, although you should manually dry your floors if they aren’t waterproof.
