"Manny was reliable, professional and did an amazing job!! He took initiative and went above and beyond by meeting me at the tile store as well as picking up the materials- saving me delivery fees... the work he did was flawless and meticulous...with attention to detail. He was punctual and completed the job in a timely fashion. In a world where Contractors and subcontractors continually and consistently disappoint with excuses, no shows, and shoddy work, Manny was a breath of fresh air...his workmanship and skill is exceptional!"

"I chose S and S paving because, the entire process was explained step by step, the materials to be used, the quality of the asphalt to be used, how much asphalt and how high it would be poured as well as how it should be maintained afterwards. The work was preformed as promised and it looks grand and the liquid coating completes the process, best looking asphalt driveway in the neighborhood."

Concrete Resurfacing questions, answered by experts

While certain kits make DIY possible, professionals ensure durability and quality of finish, which is vital for high-moisture areas like baths.

The average cost to replace concrete depends on the amount of material you need. However, you can expect the cost of replacing a concrete driveway to range from $2,000 to $7,000, or about $15 per square foot.

If you want to install or replace a concrete patio, the cost ranges from $800 to $9,000, depending on the size and exact materials. If you only need a slab, concrete slab costs range from $4 to $8 per square foot, or an average of $5,400.

The average cost to repair a concrete driveway ranges from approximately $830 to $2,800, with a typical project costing around $1,765. The price varies widely depending on the type and extent of the damage. Minor crack repairs can be as low as $0.10 to $0.15 per linear foot and may be a DIY project. More significant repairs are priced per square foot: replacing a damaged slab costs about $6 to $14, while raising or leveling sunken concrete costs $3 to $25. Resurfacing is another option, costing around $3 to $5 per square foot. Factors influencing the total price include the size of the affected area, whether reinforcement is needed, and labor costs.

Minor hairline cracks in your concrete may not look pretty, but they’re often not serious. It’s when concrete cracks are larger—wide enough that you can slide a credit card into it—that you need to worry. If you monitor a crack and can trace its active expansion over time, you’ll definitely want to call in a pro to inspect it and, potentially, repair it. Want to prevent cracks in your garage and driveway concrete in the future? Stay on top of sealing. Here’s how to seal your concrete garage floor and driveway.

When hiring a concrete contractor, you should seek someone with proven experience, proper licensing, and insurance. You should also check reviews online, talk to references, and view past project photos. Remember that reliable contractors communicate openly and have an expert understanding of local building codes. You’ll also want to ensure that the contractor specializes in the specific type of concrete work you want, whether a driveway or tinted concrete flooring.
