My wife and I have made extensive renovations on 3 homes and have worked with many contractors for various projects. We have seldom had such a positive experience like we had working with Champion. We wanted a mud set Dominican Coral stone floor and remodeled pool.. We really could not find a positive reference from anyone so we turned to Angieslist and started interviewing companies. We interviewed several pool builders and several deck /flooring companies. All the pool companies would insist that I should use travertine pavers set on sand. And flooring professionals would tell me mud set installations on concrete would be much better . This left us feeling very unsure. We thought we would have to hire the pool company to strictly remodel the pool and the flooring company to do the flooring in order to get the installation that we wanted in the material that we wanted. Finally i met Jamie and fortunately he had the know how and the crew which could do the mud set deck and the pool remodel at a better overall price. We noticed that everyone that actually hired him had given him fantastic reviews. Now I know they were well deserved. Everything went exactly as promised and changes that we requested were arranged for with little or no incremental cost. "This was supposed to be an eco-friendly cleaning and upon walking by the 2 men cleaning, I smelled bleach. I asked for details on roof tiles that were broken or loose and needed replacement but did not get that service.  A week later, I lost 6 crouton bushes and part of my bougainvillea bush has many dead branches.   I was told my roof had over 2900 sq feet of surface and would cost more than the original deal.  I am not willing to pay the extra since I lost 6 bushes.  The roof looks clean but I don't know how eco-friendly this was.

"After repeated automated requests, I'm leaving a review. The representative was nice and provided great marketing material. There were several repairs and additions I'm interested in making that aren't dependent on each task. The quote was a summarized total and after more than 4 requests for an itemized quote and to identify the construction materials that would be used, I gave up and searched for other service providers. There was a contract clause that limited the paint colors that could be chosen. Additionally, their contract includes a clause of a $5,000 penalty if you say anything they don't like about them online. I was interested in working with them, if there was appropriate communication and clarity of the work to be performed."
